Easy Guide to Pre-Spawn Bass Fishing | Best Spring Fishing Areas

Спорт

Hey y’all! In this video, I give a brief explanation of how bass behave in the Pre-Spawn and how they progress from their Late Winter to their Spawning Patterns. I also show you some of my favorite bass fishing spots in the spring, so you can hopefully apply what I’m talking about to your home lake! This video took me a long time to put together, so let me know what you think of it in the comments!

One of my primary lakes up here in the Pacific Northwest is a shallow, muddy, former-logging-pond type lake that rarely sees water temps below 35F. It gets a lot of pressure, but has some GIANT fish in it as well. Your description of shallow and muddy bodies of water are spot on in my opinion... mine has sage brush and lily pads though instead of cypress trees. I think shallow bodies of water are more unique than most because of the fact that the water temp can change so rapidly in certain conditions. Even though it's the only thing these fish have ever known, it does something to their behavior when those rapid temp changes take place. Great presentation by the way... big thumbs up!

Best informative videos I have ever watched. I am from west Michigan, and have progressed similarly to you, in that, off shore deep fishing fascinates me! One thing I have heard, that you comment regularly, natural lakes are some what featureless, in comparison to reservoirs. I have found, when you buy a conour map book, on smaller natural lakes, often times they do not show all the fearures of the lake. I have found several offshore humps, high spots, and depressions that hold big, untouched winter/summer bass by simply graphing areas in that 20-30' range, that the contour map shows as flat. Its currently -4 degrees here at home, and though I have been ice fishing, thanks to your videos, I have alot to look forward to this upcoming open water season!!!!!

Very thorough , well thought out and presented. A lot of high quality production for a “freebie” on-line video. Thanks for your effort. I live on lake Harris in FL. It can be a daunting lake to fish if you don’t find (or know to look for) those very subtle depth changes on the shell beds, grass flats etc. Thanks for your work. It’s really appreciated.
