Cohen went to jail PRIMARILY for millions of dollars of tax fraud - which had nothing to do with Trump. The other two charges they tacked on of "Campaign Finance Violation" and "Excessive Campaign Contribution" were highly speculative - so much so I wonder why he even pleaded guilty to them. But obviously he did so because he feared serving far longer in prison if found guilty in a trial. It was a classic plea deal - a common pressure tactic by prosecutors - which limited his jail time. They had him on the tax evasion, and offered him a deal - plead guilty to the "campaign finance violations" and we'll give you a really soft sentence. Yes, the "catch and kill" and "NDA" payments were indeed made by Cohen, but they are demonstrably NOT for the SOLE purpose of "influencing an election". They are legitimate payments to avoid embarrassment with family members. That means they should not be subject to the "Campaign Finance Violation" legislation. Ditto for the other charge of "excessive campaign contribution". Just because Cohen took a plea deal under pressure, does not mean Trump did anything illegal. Even the federal prosecutor did not take this case forward against Trump - it's just Alvin Bragg - and it is quite honestly a joke. A lengthy Op Ed was written in the NY Times by a legal expert explaining why this is a ridiculous prosecution of Trump.

Boston is close to New York on the Northeastern coast of the United States, and shares a very similar culture, with even a very similar way speaking unique to our region of the US. People from cities in this region of the US feel familiar with one another in much the same way that people from different regions of Italy feel familiar with people from those regions. Boston is famous in the US for its very large Irish population- people who are descended from Irish immigrants (although, we also have a very large number of people who are descended from Italian immigrants as well). The Boston professional basketball team is called the "Boston Celtics" (a reference to Boston's Irish heritage) and Boston has the largest St Patrick's Day parade in the world. We take great pride in both our Irish heritage and our Northeastern US heritage (including New York). We all love our city, and because so many of us are Irish, we've been to Dublin many times, and love Dublin as well. So, calling Boston a mix of New York and Dublin makes sense to many of us.

Loved the band’s musical tribute to David Sanborn 🎷in the closing seconds of this clip. The song “Maputo” is from his collaboration with Bob James on their 1986 album “Double Vision.” RIP Mr. Sanborn and thank you for the music.

Not anymore. I don’t really think much of him as an individual but I will give him kudos for taking accountability for his part in all of this. He did his time and no doubt lost a lot on a personal level. Tough lessons learned on his part. Too bad his family had to suffer as well.
