Speaking of teaching the truth: let's teach about the apartheid state of Israel, the occupation of Palestinian's land, the open-air concentration camp of Gaza and destruction of the same; let's teach about starving civilian survivors of war; let's teach about how American funded and turned a blind eye to the collective punishment of genocide. The truth is a broad subject.

None of this makes genocide ok. Two wrongs don’t make a right, especially when the majority of the victims are women and children.
