    Thank you for your videos, that helps me out a lot. I have a question about the sentence “have you heard the news…” You use it for an example in your book, about to listen/to hear. I understand that I say “listen to the radio”, because I do this active but why do I ask “have you heard the news…” because I concentrate myself on the news more than on the radio generally. I’m sorry for my English.

    Thank you for your explanations and the many examples of how to use these tenses. I am French and taught English before I retired; actually, I gave the same explanations to my students BUT I once went on a teacher training course in England and the leader of the group- an English teacher- gave us a few minutes to find the answer to some problem. In the end, she asked us " well, what DID YOU FIND?" .....all the French teachers in the group were very surprised as we would have asked " what HAVE YOU FOUND?", what would you say in that case? Thank you very much!
