Your pronunciation such a good for my hearing, like a Scottish butter for French bread. My first language is Russian and sometimes when I hear local dialect or specific way to speak people I meet, it’s too difficult to understand them. Thank you for your grate work!

Very good explanations Greg. I use these myself. The students really understand when explained like this in context. A good one for you to do [ If you haven't already ] is borrow vs lend. These cause confusion like been vs gone do.
Thank you very much! 💗💗💗

Oh my goodness, thanks a lot about teaching us the English grammar, you have been making a lot of sense my girlfriend has been to my friend's house for about 5 hours 😢
Helpful
Thank u very much
This is a very clear and simple explanation of the difference and correct choice between ‘been’ and ‘gone’. I was surprised, however, that when signalling the apparent exception of ‘My wife has been at the supermarket for two hours’ Greg did not point out that the preposition had changed. ‘Been to’ (completed visit) ‘Gone to’ (current absence) but ‘Been AT’ (current absence qualified by a period of time).
Great video
Those days have been and gone. Nice greg
Thank you greg from agadir morocco
I love the phrase "Those days has been and gone"...

Thants. By the by as for the advanced grammar how can you explain thungs like Since I ve been gone? Or He is gone?
You are good at English
😁😁😁Thank u
So much to do.
Greg, thanks for the lesson. I have a question, I once heard someone say "we can talk about it after I´ve been to the bank". Is that correct? What if that was said differently, like 'we can talk about after I´m back from the bank'? Cheers.
Hi, Greg! I'm Mrs. Kamatchi Hariharan from India. Here are some sentences with 'been' and 'gone'. Please Correct me If I'm wrong. 1. I've never been to England. 2. My kids are not at home now. They've gone to school. 3. "Where have you been? Your friends had come home. They waited for you some time. They have been and gone." "Oh! I have been to the supermarket." 4. "Where has she gone? Her colleagues have come home to see her." "She has just gone to temple." 5. We have been here since Morning. It's time we went home.
Oh man,you are the best
So , simple Present tense needs, requires a time period in the past such as yesterday, last month, day etc, while not been. Eg : I went to the supermarket yesterday. --- I've been to the supermarket. We don't know when but we know that in this moment you are still not there. Maybe you are at home. Is that right ? So,saying I went somewhere , without saying the time period, makes the sentence wrong ?
Thanks for your video! What about “my wife went to the supermarket”? Seems that it doesn’t make sense for some reason, but I don’t understand why. Thanks 😊
I understand now! "she has gone to supermarket" i traslate in italian" lei è andata" "she has been at supermarket" i traslate "lei è stata"
Hi greg, I have a question for 2:53 part. U said absolutely no because they are standing right infront of us. what if were asking them by phone and we wanna ask if they're already there??
This mn somehow knows all my Mistakes in English.
非常出色的講解,令人容易明白。
Thanks a lot for your lessons, both instructive and enjoyable. Of course since I am not a native speaker, I cannot be sure. But if I hear "my wife has gone to the supermarket" I understand that she has left and headed to the supermarket, but I can't be sure whether she is already there or not since she might be on the way there. So by saying that I don't understand she is already there. Please clarify.
Hello, I have subscribed you, kazem from Iran

If I have experience of working in England, can we use the followings to express it( my experience)? But I don't work there now. I have worked in England. Actually, I have worked there for five years. I have been there for five years.
I've never been to England
