Prepping the bottom of a classic car. Welding and grinding. Slither part 38.
Hey Gang, I'm making more progress on the Mach 1 Cobra Jet. I started on the bottom of the mach 1. I wanted to address some of the welds, and grind down excess material. Turns out there's still a lot to do. I did not get any sealer on the car yet, but I'm working on it. Good things are coming.

Thank you once more for your good job. You must go and rest now.
I like it that you are doing a 1969 as I have 4 1970's mustangs. Thank you for explaining things so well. I am having one of my convertibles restored from the ground up and I will need your help, especially when it comes to wiring!
Loved the fact that u weld uphill instead of down! Penetration😊
Great attention to details! Maybe a few more welds on the front spring mounts?
Paint the end of the tubes. Maybe the last4- 6” yellow. Last 0-4 red.
I so can understand the whole back issue. I messed mine up years ago by getting in an argument with my helicopter and it won LOL
Thank you for another Slither video.
We bought our rotisserie 18yrs ago. Wouldn't know what to do without it. C-ya monday nite Barry. 😊
You and I approach sheetmetal work very similarly. I would much rather have tighter gaps and less seam sealer. Metal is the best sealer! I actually go back and hammer all of my panel overlaps for the smallest gap possible. I also run my bare hand of every inch of the car and smooth sharp edges, welds etc.
my back is sore from seeing all the grinding to be done lol
Now that it's on the rotisserie looks like it's going to be easier to do the bottom of the floor pans and finish the welding thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍
Devil is in the details. Good job Barry.
Good to hear they are interactive with you. Here is to a future relationship. Cheers !
Nice work. Thanks for the video
Another bite closer. I put my 67 falcon on a homemade rotisserie. Best thing I ever did. So much easier on the back. Soon my son’s 68 mustang is going on it for a fastback conversion. Keep up the great work. Any progress is good progress.
Great video, thanks for sharing
Looking awesome, great job as always!!! 👍👍
@ 11:45- what's better than twisting the knob and seeing a full bottle of gas, right? Gotta love a rotisserie. Really can't restore without one.
Awesome Joe Daddy!!
Thanks!
Great video. Hope back gets better.
If the vehicle is balanced on the rotisserie the handle to rotate won't be needed. My rotisserie doesn't have one and I haven't come close to needing one. I spin it with the arms. I don't have a crank handle either. Mine has a nut and I use a ratchet.
Take care of yourself!
You do very good work on all of these projects thanks for the knowledge.
EXP EPOXY IS FOR bear steel yes Jerry got Jason white restoration methods i doing my 70 that way.
There were gaps intentionally left for "Crushability" if'n ya make it too strong, Someone's gonna get hurt really bad.
Do you have a fan behind you blowing the welding fumes away from you? Nasty stuff that is in any galvanized metal.

PPG supply paint store near me.
COME A LONG WAY , IT IS LOOKING SUPER FINE , SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET A NICE BODY WHEN IT IS ALL DONE
Very time consuming. The car will be a great vehicle for someone.
Yawn blah blah work on the car man. Enough of chit chat on box of supplies
