Prepping for the Full Custom 4-Link!

Coming to terms with what the heck to do with all the body rust. Part of me wants to chop the thing in half and part of me says just patch as much as possible.... Who's got the hookup on aluminum sheet ;)

3:10 A bunch of us in the TJ6 Facebook group were waiting for Genright to debut that TJ-LJ conversion kit. It was in the R&Ding stages for quite some time. The tub extension part of the kit looks cool but not something I personally would do. I like a more factory look. The frame extension part on the other hand 🤩. I stretched my TJ almost 5 years ago using extensions I cut from a donor frame but if I were to do it all over again now I’d definitely get the Genright extension.

No Berliner under it! Coat it with CRC corrosion inhibitor

Link mounts- have you considered welding the nuts for each link on the brackets to avoid needing a gap between the brackets

Yes however should the threads ever get messed up it would be super annoying to have to fix that!

Will you still use a rear track bar? And if you remove the top bracket where do you mount the shocks? Also you could tack the nuts to the link brackets so you only remove the bolts. Great progress the Jeep looks impressive.

No trackbar needed with triangulated control arms. Going to coilovers so new towers and brackets on the axle will be installed. Probably could have tacked the nuts on there but in the event that I broke a weld or something I could see that getting sticky. I appreciate the kind words and feedback!
