Hey Chris, I think I would mount the recovery point on the top of the bumper . As Long Jeep mentioned it will keep the front face snag free. I also liked it when you held it up there as an example. Your Jeep has come out so well and I enjoy to watch your videos on it and also to see your vision come to life. Take care sir and catch you on your next video or IG post.
Have you thought of building a mini skid or ramp on the bumper to protect the expensive PSC box and prevent the sector shaft/nut/pitman arm from taking an impact? As far as the recovery point goes, I'd keep it on top of the bumper if possible to keep the front face snag free.

I didn’t think about adding a ramp but that’s a good idea. It’s much higher than the stock location so I don’t think it would be an issue but better to be safe than sorry!
