This kid is lucky. He is learning real life skills from his dad. Unfortunately, most kids in the West are wasting time on social media and become selfish, clueless and entitled.

They are a log profile siding that we mill here locally. They are made from our native white spruce, cut a few miles from here

What an absolutely gorgeous boy he is, I love the way he helps and doesn't take any shortcuts, does it properly without even a hit of not wanting to do it. You should be very proud

How lucky that young man is to have you in his life showing him how to do things . This will set him up for the rest of his life. You dont see families doing alot together now. And the memories! Those in themselves are blessings.

It never gets old watching grandparents pass on life skills to the next generation. Learning the value of Hard Work and having fun at the same time. I’m so glad I found your videos.

Is there anything more heart-warming? Working with your hands to build something. Teaching and passing down critical real-world skills. It’s exactly how I learned from my father. We never had repairmen show up. He fixed everything if it broke. A gorgeous dog doing what dogs have done for thousands of years, and a sweet kid. Perfect! This needs to be its own channel. I could watch this all day. Thanks!

What a beautiful relationship the grandparents are having with their grandchild, it gives me tears in my eyes. There’s certainly no bigger gift for both parties to have such a wonderful relationship. And the young man is not scared to help his grandpa, a great friendship.

Seeing this is awesome. I have my 10 year old Granddaughter help me out. I made her a 5ft ladder for Christmas. She applied the stain, next step the paint. Teaching her how to make things using your hands and the materials you have around the house . She also helped me repaint her room. It looks great . She is my little helper. I'm also prepping for winter.last year was cold.freezing Ren my fireplace non stop. Keep warm guys.

You can tell the GrandFather is a very patient man that loves his Grand son, Where is the Grandchild parents? The little boy gets enjoyment from helping and being with his GrandFather! I remember going to get firewood with grandpa still one of my favorite things to do with him. It would be a chore without him. I remember when we would get there we would do all of these other chores and I thought we were just hitting firewood put up. I understand as an adult

Yes. Putting up a winter's supply of firewood is among some of my favorite memories. It just feels so comforting to look at the wood stack and know you will be warm all winter. Life is good.

Some of the most valuable lessons we learned in life are from your grandpa and this child is so lucky. This man is so so down to earth and gifted.

Oh so sad this is amazing but I’ve only just found this 2023 🤦‍♀️ subscribed straightaway after a few mins lol now going to have to find the beginning to catch it all up to today 😳🤩

The first bit was as satisfying watching an adult patient enough to teach a youth as it was watching a youth wanting to learn.

I love listening to that young man and seeing him dance around playing with the dog and helping with such heart and interest! 💕so eager and generous of spirit.

What a lucky little boy.I used to watch my Dad do this all the time.

Watching this i remember time with my grandad, spending summers fishing, building small wooden cabins, learning new skills!! what a great time i had! Rest in peace!!
