This episode covers the Woodhall Spa 10k as well as why my weeks training got derailed. My little boy Charlie was rushed into hospital in an accelerated state of hemolysis due to a condition he has called G6PD just after last weeks episode. This entire week we have been in hospital with him. Even at the point of writing this he is still in. Its been difficult, really difficult.
Ratrace Sea to Summit - What is it? How do you train for it?
I'm not particularly built for super long distance running, but often sign myself up to things quite outside my comfort zone. So in 3 months time I start a series of Ultra Marathons over the UK's highest mountains. I thought I would create the a few short no frills mini episodes of the training ahead of the events.
