Preparation & Standardization of 0.1N Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) Solution_Chemical Preparation (Part-1)
Chemical and reagent preparation is very crucial for any test. We must prepare chemicals and reagents to get the accurate test results. This video represents a complete procedure for the preparation and standardization of 0.1N hydrochloric acid solution. __________________________________________________________________________________________

Why 0.83 HCl in 100ml How we will calculated how many HCl we take in different different HCl % you use 37% HCl and I use 35% HCl so how many ml I take HCl for 0.1N HCl
@MicroChemsExperiments
3 жыл бұрын
Volume of HCl varies with the change in molecular weight, but not for percentage. If the molecular weight of your HCl is 36.46 then 0.83ml is needed to dilute in 100ml water.

@@MicroChemsExperiments One of the general rules when uploading scientific videos is to give a scientific explanation as to the steps that you're doing. If I have to Google your procedure, there is no use in making a video and spending time doing voiceovers. It simply reflects your lack of knowledge in that area. if you are quoting THE CALCULATION. you SHOULD mention the appropriate method that YOU used for calculating, which YOU DID NOT.! unsubscribing!

To prepare 0.1 N HCl from concentrated HCl, you will need to dilute an amount of HCl to water. If we are to make, for example, a 1 L of 0.1 N HCl, the equation will be: (note: Normality of concentrated HCl is about 12 N) (12 N) x V1 = (0.1 N) x (1 L) solving for the volume V1 , we get: V1 = 8.33x10-3L = 8.33ml so to prepare a 1 L, 0.1 N HCl from a stock solution of concentrated HCl (12 N) we will need to obtain 8.33ml of concentrated HCl and transfer it to a 1 L volumetric flask, then dilute to volume (1 L) with water. ***For 100ml, you need 0.83ml
