More pregnancy updates PLEASE!! I love them!

Good for you for bringing formula and bottles to the hospital with you. My second son lost almost two pounds in 3 days because I didn't have a milk supply. While in the hospital I begged for formula and they refused because I was breast feeding. When I went home I called daily and said he isn't getting enough, I was still told he won't starve and do not give formula. When I went in for his 3 day check up he lost almost two pounds. The nurse had me breast feed him and then she weighed him after and his weight was the same. She gave him formula instantly. This nurse was so upset that no one had listen to me. He could have died. Not everyone has a milk supply. Everyone says breast is best when in reality feed is best! Good luck with your second and please do what is best for you, your baby, and your family.

I love watching '10 names I love but won't be using' videos, I just thought that would be a cool video idea! I've kept so many baby clothes from my son, he's now three and we're extending our family as soon as we get a bigger house! Finding the right house that doesn't cost an arm and a leg is very difficult! I'm glad to hear everything is going good with you and your second son- are you doing a name reveal video anytime soon? Or waiting until he's born? Remember to enjoy your pregnancy even though it can be uncomfortable at times! These moments are a precious blessing.💕💕

Loved seeing this, Rachel! I'm 26 weeks along, and I could TOTALLY identify when you shared the funny little story about your mom and you. I go back and forth between feeling like, "THREE more MONTHS!" and "Whoohoo! We used the glass Dr Brown bottles and I LOVED it! The glass ones won't hold that "bottle smell" that our plastic ones did. I just felt I could never get our plastic bottles clean. Glass bottles are actually more durable than I thought they would be. I dropped them a few times on our hardwood floors and they never broke.

I'd love a video on things you may have done differently during this pregnancy. Even covering your mental state which you kind of touched upon in this video when you mentioned before you didn't know what to expect and now you expect the swelling etc, and things like how you've been eating, exercising (if you have been!) etc.

I'm at 30 weeks, due June 21 with our first child, a boy! So I've loved watching your pregnancy videos. That's a really good tip about bringing bottles and formula to the hospital, it never occurred to me that my milk wouldn't come in once he is here!

I really enjoy your pregnancy videos

My son had reallllly bad jaundice and when my daughter was born she had all the same signs! She still had to be treated with light therapy but I fed her formula way sooner! Good for you for thinking ahead! Our doc said if your first had it, your second will, as well as the rest of your kids. I also have a Nena diaper bag and love it 💗

I used those exact same glass bottles and they were great for me

I would love a Philips avent glass bottle!! They are the best bottle so far I have tried and trust me I went through many different kind of bottles. Yes having formula milk and bottles was one thing I didn't do and surely was one thing I regret as well. My DD was constanly hungry and even though I tried everything but my milk supply simply did not meet her demand. I made up my mind at last and decided go give her formula milk after 2 months BF exclusively. Best decision ever! We almost got that stroller for our double but ended up with the Bumbleride Indie Twin! I always love hearing about baby products you love! I think it was maybe you who got me hooked on CA Baby, now it's all I use on my babes.

I LOVE dresses this pregnancy! my first two little ones were winter babies. This little guy is due July 12th and omg, dresses are so perfect.

My milk also came in late and ours had jaundice too, so we bought the glass Avent 3-set and our baby took to them well and they warm up quick when you put the bottles in warm water. Best of luck in the 3rd trimester :)

Hi Rachel, it is normal for your milk to come in till maybe up to 5 days after having your baby. Breasts have colostrum for them to suck on until the milk comes in. Baby will not starve, they have small tiny tummies.

Yes.. I do know this.. in my situation they were going based on diapers, and how many soiled diapers he had.. He apparently wasn't getting enough to lower his bilirubin levels. At that point, I was listening to the doctors, and going based off what several doctors I trusted were telling me. =)

Rachel Talbott I'm so sorry you had a difficult time nursing the first time around! You might know this (I haven't finished the video yet), but things can change with baby 2. Just because you had a difficult time with Oliver doesn't mean you will necessarily have a hard time with this guy :)

L&D nurse here - you can start pumping before you deliver as well, if you'd prefer breastmilk exclusively over formula. Save your milk as you would any other day and bring it with to the hospital to supplement. Just make sure you are at least 39 weeks, as pumping can send you into labor prematurely.

I had the same issue with the bamboo Aiden & Anais blankets. My girl would break out of them so easily when I used them for swaddling. The regular are definitely better if swaddling is what you're using them for.

We loved the Avent Glass Bottles for our baby, we just got 2 plastic ones for when we were out but even the glass ones are pretty much bullet proof. Ive dropped them and they just bounce :)

Those Aden & Anais swaddles will get a lot softer each time they are washed. The more you use them the better they get!!

I have always loved those bracelets and remember you mentioning them years ago. Where are they from?

I BF 90% of the time from 0-6 month with one bottle feeding a day and also used the avent glass bottles. Loved them! Was also considering the mason jars DIY kit for #2??

Also if you really want to breast feed, I had a dr tell me to start pumping a week or so before baby and freeze any colostrum or milk that comes in so baby can still get all that good stuff. And then when he is born you already have milk in. This won't work for everyone, some people need the hormones from birth but it is supposed to work better for 2nd time mommies!! Good luck! As long as he is healthy, that's what matters most. I ended up doing both formula and breast feeding and i don't regret a single second of it! 💕

Enfamil has disposable 2 ounce bottles that have a reusable nipple topper. I used those while in the hospital. They were super convenient and we didn't have to wash bottles while there. They come in packs of 6 or 8. They are available in Gentlease and Normal.

what stroller do u have for the baby until he can sit by himself? the pegperego stroller is a really good one but only when the baby can sit by himself 🤔😊
