It literally feels like you just announced your pregnancy yesterday and now here you are just a few weeks away from her arrival! Best of luck!

Exactly
A baby sling so you can "wear" the baby for lots of bonding without hurting your back. It also leaves your hands free so you can do stuff and carry baby at the same time. I didnt get one with my first, but I did with my second, and it was the best thing! I am the kind of person who never wants to put the baby down, lol. Cant get enough of their sweet cuddles and adorableness. Enjoy! Im very excited for you guys.

100% agree! I had a soft fabric sling, then later I got a Ergobaby carrier. Baby wearing is a game changer!

Yes! Totally forgot about that on my list. My second never let me put him down and he wouldn’t go to anyone else either. I got one of the wrap kinds and it was amazing!
Everything looks beautiful, really. Two things: 1. You're going to want the clothing drawer for one size at a time probably. We would just store all the rest of the clothing sizes not being worn in the closet or something so that in a rush, we could grab anything from the drawer and it worked. That one drawer will hold onesies, zip ups, pants, socks, mittens, hats, and be easy to fill at each size probably. 2. The crib, while gorgeous, has a bumper in there right now. Here in the US, they're still sold and lots of parents use them but they're not recommended by any safe sleep organization at all, especially since that one isn't mesh. SIDS is rare so don't start feeling like it's an everyday threat, but crib bumpers have a history of increasing the risk. Some states and other countries have banned their sale even. If you've looked into it and feel like it's worth it, of course you're the parents and it's totally up to you. I'd just feel awful if I didn't mention it.
@LuxeNailsbyJen

I would say instead of the bumper try one of the netting ones. My son used to get his legs stuck in the crib all the time and it horrified me. I was so scared he was going to hurt himself. I almost went out and bought bumpers until I found the netting kind. It is totally breathable and helped with leg issues.

@@LuxeNailsbyJen Yeah those are a midway option. If they didn't have such a special crib I'd say they should get the vertical ones from Go Mama Go, but they don't make them for that one. ☹

I’m so glad you mentioned the bumpers! I was about to as well.
I feel like your pregnancy flew by! I can’t wait for this new chapter for you guys 💜love the makeover by the way ☺️
Love the minimalist colour decals and theme. Very natural and pretty. You’re so laid back about it all, it’s refreshing. So excited for you both xx
I wanted to tell you two affordable things that I couldn’t have done without when my daughter was a baby. The first is a Phillips Avent room & bath thermometer. You can keep it in the nursery to monitor the temperature, then just throw it in the bath so that the water is never too hot. The other thing was cloth nappies. I never used them as nappies, but we used them on the change mat, as burping cloths, underneath baby on the floor etc. Get a dozen and you’ll use them constantly.
Biscuit is excited, too. She wants to be involved in the preparation. So cute. Good luck on your delivery, Tina. We are excited to see the next part of your motherhood journey. ❤️
Nursery looks very cute, you might have to look into getting more storagespace in the future…. And the orange shirt looks lovely, and even if you have had some tough days you look amazing and glowing as always
Such a pretty nursery!! I love your crib! As a midwife I just have to point out that cot bumpers are super dangerous (and shouldn’t even be sold tbh). SIDS safe sleeping has heaps of info on them. Good luck!

Thank you! I was wanting to say the same thing. And it’s not meant to make anyone feel bad. Just a PSA! Beautiful nursery
Aveeno baby wash is good for sensitive skin, as well as a small tub for the baby to bathe in. I would also recommend stocking up on nose sprays and suckers, as well as some sorts of medicines (for when baby starts teething, gets congested, sick w whatever’s going around that month, etc) Zarbee’s has some good, more natural options! Teeth-ers, baby toothbrushes… Spit up towels are a MUST. If you prefer books that aren’t damaged beyond being able to read, child-proof reading books are the way to go (some are made of a thicker material, I’ve seen others made of fabric even). I forget what they’re called, but play over-hangs for tummy time are important earlier on before baby can crawl. If noise travels in your house then some kind of white noise for the nursery would help, a baby monitor is a must (and can be found w white noise options). A lamp for closer to bedtime and waking up so there’s no abrupt light. Remember that most babies poop up their backs, if not spit up WILL find a way past the bib, so you’ll need a couple change of clothes throughout the day, as well as for baby lol. Nipple cream, pumps for when you’re full up and baby isn’t hungry. If you’re not sure what developmental stage baby should be at/want daily tips for peace of mind, I’d recommend an app ( I’ve used baby sparks periodically when I run out of ideas/need tips) Aveeno, CeraVe, Aquaphore, Eucerin, Vanicream. All have good creams for baby, some have diaper rash creams as well as for eczema. Cradle cap cream helps, but eventually that should go away on its own. Child proofing the house is important down the line (mainly everything attached to the wall so baby can’t pull/knock down anything on themselves). Lastly, make sure to have time for yourselves! Having a baby isn’t an exchange of their life for your social one, going on a date or simply needing a break is normal, honestly. Find someone you trust to watch baby, ask for updates so you don’t lose your mind the first couple times away from baby, and have fun! Try socializing baby as much as safely possible, kids learn most just from being around others and observing, especially other kids closer to their age. Just do whatever you two think is right for baby, I’m confident you’re going to be great parents!!🥰💕

Congratulations mama! Nursery looks great and you look stunning 🥰
I think the pink carpet with the large geometric print looked best! Looking great guys! Great job!

This might be the motivation I need to get ready for my son's arrival. So many clothes to wash, fold and organize, crib needs set up, and everything else! Oh man, I have 5.5 weeks left
put all your nappy changing supplies in the top draw under the changetable- creams, nappies, nappy disposable bags, etc
it feels like a dream, i started watching tina's Makeup tutorials and sometimes with Michelle 🥰 Gosh it all started in 2017, and now boom! she is mamma now! cant wait to see little princess growing and glowing up 😇 Prayers and Wishes for your labor!
Respect ...caz u were working this whole 9 month and upload videos .....so hard!...kid u got brave parents !
The room looks absolutely beautiful, I’m a bit obsessed with those wall decals 😍 But please consider removing the cot bumper from inside the cot when little one gets here, I’m not sure about where you’re from but in the UK they’re not recommended as they pose a suffocation risk to baby while they sleep.
Thank you for sharing your pregnancy journey with us 🥺 I can't wait to see how you grow further from here ❤️ good luck with the birth
Omg Tina!!! 💖 I'm so excited for the baby. Praying for you and your baby's health! 🙏 Love from PH 😊
Soo yeah... I was always more of a children"hater" but seeing u guys being so happy kinda cheers me up. So, thanks for all the joy u share. 😅💞 One thing: I remember myself loving a little puppet with a music box inside of it. I am stilling taking it around when there is something really meaningful happening in my life, because no matter the outcome, the music makes me feel protected like when my parents were singing...nowadays it usually sits on a little wooden bench in front of the window and keeps me company sooo yeah... I would wish everybody to have like this little safety melody. ❤️ I hope my english isn’t to bad. Didn’t had to write in it for years now.
Love the nursery, such a light and calming space for her. You and Alfred have done an awesome job on it. The high chair looks great btw, always a good idea to have things that can be adapted as your child grows. When my daughter was younger I had one that could be adapted from a high chair to a low table and chair for her to play on. Good luck with the birth :)
Adorable! So happy for you! :D I just had my second baby boy 3 weeks ago. Ps Vaseline works great for diaper rash, the creams weren’t working so we tried that and no more red bum. And if you breastfeed don’t get discourage it’s hard and if it’s too hard and you bottlefeed that’s fine too don’t feel pressured just enjoy your baby :)

Congratulations and thank you for the tips!
Woww Tina! This still feels like yesterday when you announced the start of this beautiful journey of yours , Time flies by so quick. ♡Best of luck to both of you!♡
I don't have kids, but my first thought was baby wipes and one of those nappy disposal bin things...
It's good to prep for the baby and naturally so when you're towards the end you tend to have a nesting nature. At the same time please use this time to also prep for your postpartum healing. It is just as important to get ready for a whole new version of you. Breastfeeding will make you hungry and thirsty, so have a snack station for goodies and a bottle of water by your rocking chair. That space would also have your pump, breast pads, cooling breast pads, etc. Have padsickles, food stocked in the freezer, a little pamper hamper for yourself. You'll most probably be losing a lot of bodily fluids from everywhere so breast pads and comfy breast feeding friendly clothes are important. Having a baby wrap was also one of the things that helped me get through postpartum with no family or friends around. Baby bouncers are only good for short uses. Babies are best on their tummy. The more tummy time the better and it helps them with their development in the future (crawling, walking, talking, coordination). So you might want to have space for them to be able to lie down with some sort of mobile for them to gaze on (newborns can't see colors so something like ghe munari mobile is great) I hope this is more helpful than overwhelming. Motherhood sure is a journey and is a lot all at once but it helps to take things a step at a time. Day by day ❤️
Hi Tina! First off Congrats! Just a couple tips since I recently had a baby and learned a lot about safe sleep and reducing SIDS. 1) Crib bumpers and fabric canopy are never recommended. They are suffocation and strangulation hazards. No harm in baby sticking out limbs out of crib without them. 2) Crib needs to be at least 3ft from windows in case glass shatters or in case of fire and window needs to be broken. 3) All furniture needs to be 1 foot away from crib, as they are entrapment hazards. As a First time mom it was hard to find info on safe sleep, but when we know better, we do better to keep our bundles of joy safe.🧡 Best wishes to you and your little family, your nursery is beautiful!!! ** Edit to add that although it might seem convenient to store items in crib, they are safety tested for weight limit listed on the manual only. The structural integrity can be compromised when weight limit is exceeded and voids the crib from being safe. Weight can add up super quick.
My favourite baby items...a grow egg room thermometer tells you the temp and the colour changes. A bath thermometer. White cloth nappies, not for using as nappies but for burp clothes, spills, saves your cot/bassinet sheets for under their little head if they have a little vomit. Xx
Tina, I have always looked upto you ever since I subscribed, you felt like a Big sister to me. From you meeting alfred to seeing your Relationship blossom, from seeing you marry off and have a baby, I'm halfway through writing this and I am already in tears. I feel connected to you, kinda like family. Your Journey has given us so many lessons and so much happiness. Your creative process, your career, your motivations and girl talks. Saw it all, felt it all. I just wanted to say I am really Proud of you, of who you are and I absolutely Love you and adore you. I just wanted to tell 16 year old Tina that She made it. She already did. Happy to see you happy ❤ So very excited to see Mini TinaxAlfred born into this world and Grow into the Beautiful Human that You are now ❤
I would recommend to get some storing containers you can stack and put all the clothes by size and label them. It makes it easier to swap when needed and store when you get gifts. Also a silicone bib is really handy. A really really good bin for the dirty nappies. My niece loves to bounce herself, that's a great buy 👍🏻
Thank you for sharing the nursery set up and listening to your viewers! Can’t wait to see your little girl!
Glad you recovered quickly. I too have covid at the moment (day 3) and 18wks pregnant. Similar symptoms to you. Hoping for a speedy recovery! Really enjoying following your pregnancy journey btw!! 😊 Very cute nursery ❤️

@@jaeheejung8215 awe thank you for the encouraging words!! It's so nice to hear from others who have been through the same! It's my 1st time so not sure what to expect, which is why I'm loving following Tina's journey 😊
Dr Smiths diaper rash cream is the best!! Also, never let anyone tell you to put the baby down because you will spoil her and she wont sleep. i held my babies while they napped sometimes and I treasure those moments!!
I love that so many of the items you got for baby grow with her! Seems so practical and such a good bang for your buck!
You’re a beautiful pregnant woman !!!! You’re beautiful no matter what Tina I’m so happy for you both love you guys a ton !!!!! Hugs and stay safe and well. ❤️❤️❤️
Soo exciting! Love how simple and different the nursery is.
I have 3 months left and watching you has given me so much courage (still not processing I’ll have to give birth) but I’m excited for every pregnancy video you post! Good luck Tina!! I’m so excited for you
Good to see you have a helper dog. Biscuit is doing an outstanding job of getting in the way as she thinks she should be the centre of attention. You look beautiful Tina. The nursery is delightful. Thank you.
I love watching nursery room and baby products …. Can’t wait for the baby to born healthy ❤️
I know this is probably a weird and strange question; but while my family and I were going through our storage shed, we found a plastic tub with a bunch of my baby clothes in them. There were several that were in really good condition and just needed a good wash; and since I won’t be having a baby myself anytime soon, wasn’t quite sure what to do with them. I was wondering now after watching this is you might be interested? They’re all super cute and of varying sizing. If not that’s totally fine, I was probably going to donate them if I couldn’t find anyone who would want them; after their washed of course. Watching this video just got me thinking about them again. Have the best of luck and the easiest of labors and births! 🖤
Why do I like the slippers tho😭 THEY’RE LITERALLY SO CUTE
I’ve been watching your videos when I was still pregnant. i don’t know why but your voice is so calming. my baby just turned 1yo and now it’s your turn with the pregnancy journey. Wishing for you to have a safe delivery ❤️
I am 6 weeks pregnant and before knowing i kept loving your new type of videos🥰
I have no kids, just two furry babies.. but I lovee pregnancy vlogs! Thanks for sharing. Loved biscuit on the stroller haha
Tina! I'm so excited for you guys. Goodluck and always take care!! 🥺💗

Oh that wall is absolutely beautiful!!! Perfect choice!!! So happy for y'all!!!
Oh my gosh the nursery looks awesomeeee and i cant wait for the baby!!!! She'll be as awesome as you!!!!
I can't wait for the baby to be here!! Im wishing you the best of luck Tina on the rest of your pregnancy! I know the both of you will be great parents!
Good luck on your motherhood Tina! I know you'll be a great mom for your baby girl 🥰✨
Wow!! Such a beautiful room! I adore the simplicity of it. Most new mums (including myself) usually go over and above on things they don't even end up using! But I'd love to recommend the Haakaa brand! They have an amazing range of baby products. Also if you ended up using the shusher maybe you'd like to invest in a white noise machine it might be less hassle is all. I wish you both all the best in your next steps into parent hood ... Can not wait too see what happens next in your journey :)
Congratulations 🎊!! Beautiful nursery! I had my daughter 2 months ago and I would recommend a baby monitor with remote pan/zoom/tilt camera that has a thermometer attached that's able to play lullabies. Gives you a chance to still watch baby while going around the house getting stuff done or just taking a break while knowing baby is okay 👍
So excited to see a mini Tina 😁💗
Really nice baby room, I love that you chose the natural tones! I hope everyting goes well!
Take care of yourself Tina 💜💜💜💜

Aw the nude pink looked better in the room imo.. but the room looks so beautiful, I love the tones in the room and how clean and peaceful it looks.
So cute... Can't wait to see your new bundle ❤️
I remember watching your channel with my sister, way back in 2016 and eventually seeing Alfred here. Your journey makes us so happy. All the best girl 🥺💓🧿
So excited for the baby u look incredible
Beautiful nursery! So excited for you and Alfred. I'm expecting twin girls in May so this was well timed for motivation to get their nursery together 😊. As far as recommendations, I highly recommend black out curtains, swaddles, and a sound/white noise machine to create a nice sleep environment for baby. A soft night light is also great for those late night feeding and diaper changes. They were really helpful tools when my son was a newborn and infant! Was also really excited to see someone gifted you a shusher - great for on the go too!
simple elegant gorgeous ❤ loved it
I really admire you are working even when you are pregnant
Looks like you are all ready and prepared
