Thank you guys for selling such amazing plants! I bought one from you around a year ago and it’s doubled in size and has grown a new offshoot recently.

You guys should definitely grow amorphophallus operculatus, amorphophallus saururus, and amorphophallus atroviridis. Those have red leaf margins and are immensely popular.

When it comes time to staff up, how do I apply? I've always wanted to work at a nursery, plant shop, what-have-you, and working with predatory plants would be the bees knees!

Hi Josh, was just wondering about the very first Nepenthes you point the camera at in the center display, the entirely red one. Is that a species or hybrid and if so what’s the parentage?

  • @PredatoryPlants

The one with the very red leaves is a N. (veitchii x lowii) x spectabilis "Giant" from Borneo Exotics

Think I have a sarracenia purpurea ssp. venosa burkii fat chance, or something like that. Are the pichers supposed to have water or a liquid in them?

How do you water that main display? I have seen it in person twice now and 2 weeks ago bought my own set if plants from your shop and made a bog today. I feel like i took a bit too long to plant them up and most of them suffered but my butterwort is doing great still

Your greenhouse went down to 30’s and little heatwave up to 110. My greenhouse went down to high 40’s and little heatwave a week ago up to 80’s. I use a heater in the winter and swamp cooler in rest of the year. My greenhouse is across the Bay.

Heating and cooling a 20,000 square foot, all-glass greenhouse with 20-foot ceilings is going to take more than a space heater and swamp cooler. We're working on it though.

Hello. I’m looking for a plant that will eat small months that come out of the bird food that my Conure eats. I don’t put poison in or outside my home so I thought a fly eating plant would be a natural defense against the little guys. Are Venus Fly Traps the best or is there another plant that works?
