The whole "Predators Upgrade themselves with DNA" thing just spits in the face of everything established. The biggest one being that one of the most well known bits o Predator lore is that they see Xenomorph/Predator hybrids as abominations that should be destroyed ASAP, if they hybrid themselves with their prey, then why would they care about Xenomorph/Predator hybrids?

I would make a sequel called Aliens vs. Predators or something like that and It would be probably over 4 hours long and have the characters from predators, Predator 1 and 2 as well as maybe some other people and giving some fan service but trying to place it cohesively into a nice package.

Absolutely love and agree with your review and I absolutely hated The Predator. I think you were being generous with the 1/10. How can they possibly screw up so royally? Everything was soooo bad. The characters, the direction, the action, the music.... I didn't think that Predators was anything really special but after watching this rubbish I've developed a new appreciation for it.

Ash the movie made the predator look like idiots, they are taking DNA from humans so they can evolve like us and be better predators, which is just so stupid, it would make sense if humans were doing this to predators but predators doing it to humans makes no sense as they are already better than humans so taking our DNA would make them devolve

Which proves that this was all Fox's doing. I mean, they're the ones who made such abominations like Fant4stic, Independence Day Resurgence, Alien Covenant, The Predator, and Dark Phoenix.

"Predators"has a few problems, but it just adds to the universe(example, making the Black Predators a separate caste of Predator). "The Predator"tries to undo years of mythology from comics, games and film and makes a stupid mess that is extremely gross(seriously, PTSD people and people with autism are treated so shit-ily in this.) It reminds me of how Ridley Scott decided all the aliens we know from his original film were made by an android with a god complex. However, his crime is more egregious because he actually created the first "Alien"film. However, I shouldn't be surprised that Shane Black ruined this universe.He WAS the guy who made the Mandarin Guy Pearce.Ironic that he ruined this movie, as he was also the first person killed from Arnies team.

I am SO GLAD that you feel the same way about The Predator as I did. This was an absolute shit stain of a movie. The characters were awful and flatly-written. The humor was amateurish and dragged out way too long, with the humor coming up every five minutes not helping at all. The story was complete rubbish, and it didn't help that the pacing was all over the place.

Predators (2010) wins! No competition here! The Predator (2018) is not only the Worst Predator Movie (I don't count the AvP Movies as a Part of the Predator Franchise) but also the Worst Movie I saw this year in a Movie Theater.

KJ Beast agreed, I grew up watching the original teen titans show on Cartoon Network and after teen titans go I wanted the original back, I was so hyped for the show when I heard, after seeing the trailers and teasers I got a few doubts but still kept my head up, then after season 1 I hated it, such a disappointment and waste of time, it has a higher budget than the cwshows and has worse special effects, has no character development, characters have no connection to each other, and is visually one of the ugliest shows ever, such a disappointment and waste of time, it’s not only the worst DC show but the worst superhero shows ever, worse than dc legends of tomorrow and iron fist

i know this is stupid but we are not sure what is the differences between horror and thriller

Practical effects are ALWAYS better. There are some cases where CGI is better such as with the recent Planet of the Apes movies. Those CGI effects contribute to character development and storytelling. But a lot of other CGI effects don't beat practical effects. lf it can be done in camera then that's the best option. You should only use CG if it's not possible to do something in camera.

Why is Eric Carter comparing the The Predator (2018) to Predator (1987)? I thought it was suppose to be a versus battle against the 2 movies. I now that Predator and The Predator are in the same universe but still, the title said Predators vs The Predator. He involved technically 4 movies (if you include the 1990 Predator movie) when it was suppose to be a battle with only 2. He should of titled it Predator VS Predator 2 VS Predators VS The Predator.

No matter how many times you remake the movie, you will never top the first one!

You can pretty much blame the film's low quality on Fox. Because if history has taught us anything, it's that the executives at Fox all have a talent for ruining films during production. Especially Tom Rothman.

I am a big predators fan. I think it’s underrated. It’s fun and exciting. Plus it pushes the franchise forward. They idea of a world where predators hunts dangerous humans is a cool concept

Yes. But at the same time, there are SOME jokes that are more or less very similar in quality to the Marvel movies.

It's clear that The Predator is inferior but there is one scene I felt was done great. It was the scene where Olivia Munn was naked and trapped in the lab and the predator comes in. It has a tense atmosphere and the end result is consistent with the predator

I think the hybrid predator it's belong to super predator clan because of his appearance.

Yea man I know what you mean about this cheap CGI rout, I had the same problem with azog the pail orc in the Hobbit, just make him using practical effects that’s what Lord of the Rings was known for

When I watched Predators the first time I had a feeling that something was off about the super predators

Predators was an interesting idea that used several elements from the previous two films with some unique ideas that were from the comics. The Predator diverged way too far from what the previous films as well as ignoring whatever other works involving the Predator. The way the predator lore was handled was a disservice to everything the Predator franchise did. The result is a MCU film without any of the good parts, just jokes and violence. EDIT: Well, at least the soundtracks for both films are great to decent.

Fun fact, the script of 2018? The predator script was leaked so the writer had to rewrite the script quickly. in my honest opinion the writer shouldn't have done that he should just released the movie without rescripting it.
