The only characters I liked in Army of the Dead were Bautista, the black guy, and the German guy. And that end credit scene really pissed me off, because I actually wanted someone besides the daughter to survive!

Fun fact: apparently, Zach Snyder actually has plans for the future of “Army of the dead”. He wants to turn it into a franchise. A prequel of the movie came out called “Army of thieves” and two more projects are being planned such as an anime-looking animated series called “Army of the dead: Lost Vegas” and a sequel called “Planet of the dead” or something like that.

​@@adamgrunther1367 My favourite characters were Bloodposrt and King Shark. I haven't decided which one takes the number one spot though. The tone was different but it was a lot better than I thought it was gonna be going by the trailers. I also found it far more consistent and controlled than the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. And unlike the Guardians movies, if a joke in The Suicide Squad didn't work, it didn't make me cringe.

There is literally 1 problem with Army of the Dead in my view. That the final survivor took Too Damn Long to turn into a zombie. I can see that Snyder sacrificed the internal consistency of the movie in favor for a more dramatic reveal. Other than that I FUCKING LOVED IT The opening Viva Las Vegas Montage, BEAUTIFUL The Action, BEAUTIFUL The character work and themes of Fatherhood that persist across his work, BEAUTIFUL. This is the first movie I've seen with Batista where I realised... This guy can ACT! His daughters character is disrespectful af, but that's life, that's people so I'll accept it. Some say the plan for the Americans to try and Control the Zombies by getting the Head of the Queen is Stupid. And I agree with them, and the only thing Stupider than that plan are the people who think America wouldn't try to do that xD This is Zack Snyders Suicide Squad 8/10

@@HorrorCritical The whole point of this series seems to compare similar movies. If you want to compare Halloween 2018 to something then compare it to Halloween 2 1981 considering 2018 is a sequel to the original 1978 version just like 1981.

@@EricCarter12 okey well my honest oppinion on space jam is i like it better than the first and not to discredit the first one as the 2021 space jam tries using todays humor to match the tone of its vibe and also gives us memes i view it as a fan service movie. The new sucide squad on the other hand eh... A wild wacky experience but overall all over the place and forgettable for me.

Thanks. :) I have seen the movie, and I thought it was a lot of fun. Blew me away that we got something like that as a streaming service film. I thought the Aliens had very creative designs which in modern Hollywood really surprised me. The movie gets either a 6 or a 7/10 for me.

Another great vs video Eric, to be honest I completely forgot about Dawn of the Dead. I remembered when my dad owned that movie so I haven't seen it since I was a kid. And I had no idea that it was Zack Snyder's first movie. So O might check it out later, if I still have it.

Actually, there was a movie that did the whole Smart Zombie, it is called Land of the Dead. Where the Zombies began to develop their intelligence, learning how to use weapons, develop strategies to get past human obstacles, and desires of both revenge and mercy. It is one of those movies that is surprisingly good, as there are people you want to live in not only the human factions but the zombie ones as well. I do recommend you check it out.

Great review (as always), but I was slightly dissapointed about the fact you haven't talked about the opening credits of DOTD, especially after you talked about the opening credits in Army. I think it's tied with Black Widow for the best opening credits.

And not just feel like a typical sales advert in a KZread video. My detailed and calculated use of background music doesn't just extend to my reviews. ;)

Yes I did see it. I thought it was ok. It was definitely the worst of the three movies and James Wan's absence was REALLY felt with the film's direction.

That’s great. I enjoyed watching it. Maybe not as much as the first two, but I did like the scale the movie was going for. It felt bigger cause they went place to place, than the other two were the hauntings mostly take place in one location. That’s what I thought.

Yes I really did. The first hour long episode was AMAZING and the final 3 episodes were fantastic aswell. I love the development between the characters and the large scope of the show is something that I loved about The Clone Wars. I do think the show had a bit much padding. But aside from that, it was a great show. And it seems to hint and setup a lot of cool stuff for Season 2. What did you think of it?

@@EricCarter12 I thought it was a really good show, even though I had problems with 2 episodes (commen ground) and (infested) I really enjoyed, and I am so happy they didn't redeem crosshair yet, it would have been to early into the show and I'm happy there taking things close with him. And I personally loved omega. She didnt have the problem with ahsoka at first and she was an actual help sometimes

Thanks buddy. Cool. I'm glad your looking forward too it. I personally am just afraid with what they are going to do with the Raimi characters. I have heard a rumour that they are going to retcon Otto Octavius's death at the end of Spider-Man 2 just so they can bring him in this movie. And I really hope that isn't true. And I hope they keep the heart and sole of those characters in tact and don't just turn them into jokey MCU characters. We'll see soon what happens.

Hey buddy. I don't think so. Those movies don't really warrant a comparison. If I was going to compare two horror movies then I would rather compare A Quiet Place 1 and 2 or The Conjuring 1, 2 and 3.
