I think people like this td because of pleasant combination of mobility and gun (accuracy, shell velocity, pen and alpha) - you can get into position fast, shoot pretty reliably (one thing to mention - I've always felt with most french tanks, that they need to be fully aimed, otherwise they throw potatoes) over most distances, relocate if needed. Low profile helps avoiding shots. And ocassionally you even bounce something.

gun on paper looks like tier 10 leo gun .. 0.26 accuracy with below 1.9 aim time but in reality i swear even fully aimed shots goes no where near aim .. but still i love it for overall features like speed with camo and 100mm armour

Yes I've noticed the same thing about gun stats . On paper the gun can be great. But In action it doesn't perform.

That's just the mid playing tricks.

I have this tank. Gun is pretty precise to be honest. Without food, but only BiA, Vents, Improved Aiming I can get this tank to 0.25. Shell velocity is fast too. BUT, you will miss 60% of the shots if you are not fully aimed. I think this tank problem is it's dispersion on traverse. Being non turreted td that has little gun traverse, and has to re-aim every movement, the bloom is very big and you need lots of patience. In tanks GG, I remember this tank got around 0.22 dispersion on traverse in stock config

For me gun handling and dpm are killing this tank a bit. It is not a terrible vehicle by any means but Strv S1 is just better for me. Also today is day TWENTY FOUR asking for Charlemagne:)

Has better accuracy then STRV S1 and lets not talk about mobility, STRV is like a turtle ...

“This gun handling is horrible” yet three marks of excellence on the barrel - lol this is been one of my favorite tanks to play lately but it does have its weaknesses.

This is my prefered tier 8 TD. Good speed, camo and gun if u ask me. Its basicly a scout with a good gun. Normally u dont like getting tier 10 matchups, but in this one i dont mind. It actually shreds anything in its way. It suits a very agressive playstile where u can relocate a lot.

I prefer the german Kamp TDs. Amx is more like MT turretless than a TD. It got a speed of an MT, Camo of an MT, Gun of an MT. Its more like for premium collection tank purposes or playing another version of french TDs beside the foch series.

10:24 you can't blame the gun it was you not aiming

Even though requirements for 3 MoE on this tank are pretty low I was struggling a little bit to mark this tank. But I finally did it so much relief :D

That's just world of Tanks. A tank that has a listed accuracy of .30 might feel accurate to some people then not to others. Then a tank with .40 accuracy might feel terrible to some people but work for others. It's a weird phenomenon but WG have nailed it :D

Today I played the 56TP for first time and compared its gun with CDA. I find the CDA far better, where you sung praises about 56TP.

All the Attelier Muolinux are great

Fun fact. The kanonenjagdpanzer 105 is the same tank only faster, less armor but abit better gun. I think its better than the cda

I understand that Skill doesn't like this tank but I beg to differ. I've had games with 6k damage in it. It's a fine tank.

The best tier 8 td in my opinion. This gun is just perfect for farming plenty of credits and dealing a lot of dmg :D

@@waynealan3067 getting a crew with 4+ skills, extra rations as well as bounty equipment is well within the reach of every player who plays a few hours a week over the course of a year or so. More money won't go very far to boost you past that point.

Personally, I play with 3+ skill crews, bounty equipment and extra rations, and I play ~1-2 hrs a week and spend ~$100 a year on this game on average. I bet I'm a pretty close to average player, but I still play with these "unrealistically good" crew & equip setups you're talking about. Suppose it went the other direction. If Skill chose to set up "real tank reviews" by going with "real player" crews and equipment, can you easily tell me what the best choice in each of the following cases would be if we wanted to have a "real player" setup? 1. Crews: 50%? 75%? 100% with 1 perk? 100% with no perks? 100% with idiotic perk choice like wet ammo stowage, call for vengeance, etc.?... (Or do we just go with 3+ perk crews for prem tanks since this is what the typical player uses?) 2. Equipment: none? Default level? Bond only? Bounty only? A combination of each of these? 3. Rations: yes or no? Hopefully, you came up with a thoughtful answer for each of those questions. In truth, there's no one answer to each of those questions; rather, there are options for each. I agree with Skill's choice for each of those, and you probably don't.

@@waynealan3067 are you trolling or do you really think a crew has so much impact on a tank that it boosts a bad tank to op levels? Only 4 or 5 skills are actually good, the rest is almost useless and maximum of "nice to have".

KNOW anything about getting a flight stick to work on PC Blitz? I've 1 arm and aggravated at WG & lack of easy to use options.... The control afforded by the stick I think would help me greatly(even tho the majority think it's a PITA)

Skill I see that you are not happy with 1500-2000 dmg but your videos are still good as it is. Sometimes less is more as they say.

But Skill CDA has imense cammo values and good view range, sometimes when is needed i spot for my team in the first minutes, has decent mobility, good standard pen and great shels speed and in some rare ocassions you can even bounce some shots, i love it :)

I love this tank. Though to be honest one of my favourite tanks used to be the AMX AC 48 when it was a single shooter... and this is just the replacement for me. But I'm always surprised. Skill says this tank has an awful gun and Somua has a good gun. For me it's the complete opposite. I hate the Somua and love the CDA. This tank has good accuracy, dpm, pen, gun depression, speed, armor... what else you want? My only complaint is the ammo. APCR just bounces so much more than AP. Same with swedish TDs, there are so many "unexpected" bounces because of the APCR. :/ But HEAT gold... so... if you hate making credits at least you can load it unlike in the swedish TDs.

What do you mean a gun with a mind of its' own? I'd say the gun behaved perfectly! The low damage games was not because of the tank.

Skill never like tanks that can not be snap shot god. But that why he is great at the game.

This tank is my credit maker. I 3 marked it and love plying with it :)

Hello there. I found your channel from a friend of yours, WotAddictGlobal, who recommended you, so I subbed!

The problem this TD has is the gun is decent but not epic. The DPM is bad. Yes the APCR but you can do the same with Kanonen 105 but with more penetration. Mobility more or less is the same as view range.

For me this gun is better than wz 120 ft and this two tanks have pretty much the same way of playing tha game. Idk why but i have more fun in this tank then i have in wz

Having played more than 1k games in both, the WZ can't be compared to this thing because a) the alpha is 440 vs 390, b) the gun handling is vastly different between both tds in favour of the french TD, c) the reload is 7.7 seconds for WZ while CDA is 9.9 seconds. The have 310 HEAT and mobility is similar but that's all. The most similar TD to the CDA is the Kanonen 105 and both have the problem of low DPM. CDA has a little bit more armor though but not that much.

@@juanjodpr for the most part agreed besides the armor comparison. where the AMX has a big ass cupola that's screaming to get shot at (example: 8:34 in the video) the wz-120-ft has no easy frontal weakspots and more effective armor overall. WZ-120 can reliably block shots from lower tier tanks, and if you use the gun depression you can bounce most tier 8 tanks with it too.

Yea, always found it to be terrible. Why am I gonna be stuck with worse gun handling / dpm / alpha than skorpian / su and far worse everything else not gun handling than WZ?

It is very good to play and interesting..it is super super hunter ...

plattform is good, but gun is more like the old PTA gun! on paper good but in reality many shots miss....but i know it only from the Enemy sideview. not a big opponent. trollish armor and good mobility but thats it.

I like it's gun. Don't know why it's not working for skill...

But I am back and I think I jolted YT algorithm so they will show skill videos "when I am a F*king subscriber" skill wrestles every last point out of ANY game. ( me I am Jeff and have resigned with 7,5% beer but I am quite good at that , if I sit in a tank I get disoriented, but watching the entire map and all people , my stats show that I am 4% better then other Jeffs ahahahhahahahahah )
