I love the HWK 30, but play it badly. I thought HE would be totally ineffective after the nerf. Thanks for the videos on this vehicle.

If you don't pen HE does a lot less damage now but if you pen... oh boy!! Also Arta nerf was a lie! Them Jeffs hit harder than ever!

@@sizskie eine time ago they changed/nerfed arta. They do less damage with splash but hit like trucks on direct hits now. Also a Little less accurate iirc.

this was the first tank different to the trashbarn that i played mainly with HE and it is truly a pleasure, even more if you fin that ebr running around. the only real bad thing i can find of this tank is the size, it is really big for a lt so it is easy to counter

@@mikem9536 I ram elc's in my WZ-132, but after ccx watching this I really need to get the HWK30. Knew it had hi pen HE round but didn't realize it was that high 😭

Anyone who likes HWK30, but doesn't want to pay WG should try the tier 9 tech tree Ru251. Same kind of gameplay with great gun handling and lovely HE shells, only at tier 9 instead of 8. It won't make you credits of cause but you don't have to pay Euros, dollars or any other real-world money for a fun-to-play tank either!

I don't think that jeff drowned on purpose on Ruinberg. Some jeffs are too low and slow to cross the shallow crossing. I guess that's why there is a bridge nearby.

​@@jinan_hwasal I guess he didn't know. There are lots of maps in the game and only the South base of Erlenberg (not Ruinberg, my bad) has this problem. On top of that only a few SPGs are both slow and low enough to drown here, and there are hundred of tanks a player can have in their garage. And because WOT is based on RNG, if he drove it a bit differently, I bet somehow he would have crossed it safely before the drown timer reached zero.

It's a hard tank to play with. The camo is no where close to LT 432 or elc 90, so those tanks will most of the time out-spot you. Basically you have to play the HWK 30 like a mini Leo, maybe a quick scouting run and than snipe from back. There's not a lot of bushes you can really use effectively, since it's profile is huge! T-54 mod. has a way smaller profile than HWK 30,not to mention Progetto, Borat etc etc. But get ready getting called all kind of things in the chat, cuz on paper you are a light tank( supposed to spot), but in reality it's more of a medium sniper tank. But it's a fun tank to play. Good alpha, good top speed, very good gun handling, and awesome HE( 102 pen). If you don't mind getting called names in in-game chat( which I personally don't) , than I'd recommend the HWK 30. Had a blast while 3 marking it.

+1 to LT-432 like others in this thread mentioned. A thing to highlight though is that LT-432 isn't always on sale, whereas I'm pretty sure you can get the HWK30 for gold in game any day of the week. This is a good option for people who didn't already have a premium light tank, but since you already have the ELC EVEN 90 you probably should just hold off until you can get the 432.

It was my first t8, and I have 3 marks bc I simple love it

The only problem with hwk30 is elc even90, lt432 and ebr. Elc will out spot you. Lt432 will out dpm you and ebr will do all of that and flip a big middle fringer for the rest of your tream while doing that. Empires border is a shitty map, also you have the loosing spawn.

Mohawk on SKILL is ALWAYS good. Enemies BEWARE!!

It realy is. It has better cammo, engine power, shell velocity, gun depresion and view range. Only drawback is DPM compare to the M41 90. Skill preferes M41 90 for some reason but for me just like for most players is doing way better with HWK 30.

I just bought it a view days ago. But the killed the HE pen. I kinda regret buying it. I've should've bought the elc even 90.

I recently swiched my Chrysler GF for a big discount on HWK. First battle - Ace wanker, battles after that were not so simple but I dont regret w getting it

Yep. Empire is one of my banned maps. Awful in general. Tolerable as something like T95 in 0-angle city (south) but overall a poorly designed and laid-out map. Never fun or exciting.

Probably because lights are the most inconsistent class as they are very map dependant. No one wants to watch 3 games where he does like 1k combined damage because the maps don't alive him to do anything.
