As a Christian, I honestly don't know why these "pastors" have the need to live big. In my personal opinion, most of that money could have been spent on missions, aid and sponsoring children... and for ministry. Not... the flashy lifestyle.

It's better to spend money on a flashy lifestyle than on missionary work. A flashy life-style, at least, does not involve abusing people. I agree about aid and sponsoring children...but missionary work? No, missionaries have raped the world enough.

This is exactly what causes people to leave the church and Christ. I am completely confused by this. We have got to be in the end of times. Making a mockery of my Lord like this????? I'm not perfect, neither are they. But when you''ve been" chosen"...this has disgusted me. This is exactly why Christians nowadays are not taken seriously.

True. I agree with you. One thing that a lot of Christians do get wrong is that God wants us to prosper and enjoy life. Look at King Solomon and Job, and all of the holy kings who ruled in the Old Testament.. They all were wealthy, and they all were blessed with wealth straight from God, and the reason why they were holy is because they didn't let worldly things distract them from God. The only time God hates it when someone gets rich is when that person puts materialistic things before God, which a lot of people tend to do. Now, I don't agree with these "pastors" using all of that money for themselves, and not investing 10% towards the church, God, and to tithes, but that's between them and God. We can't judge them for that. However, one thing that bothers me is how even though these pastors claim to be holy, they act worldly; causing drama, going to clubs as if that's their church, and doing all of these things that's not of God. That's pretty messed up, and that does make us Christians look bad...

My pastor ran a side business felling trees in our community. He would often hire young men in our congregation for his crew, able men who could handle the work. His equipment was paid for out of what he made on the job. He lived in a double-wide in a poorer part of our neighborhood. He fed his family off the wages of his business. The money that was donated to the church - STAYED IN THE CHURCH. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. Mark 9:35 - thanks to RWJ for pointing me here.

The wisdom of this world is predicated upon a self-interest and practicality that says, “What is the benefit for me if I do this? What is in it for me?” But the wisdom of God is altogether sacrificial. It does not rest on the benefit that one receives. It rests on the benefit that God receives.

i am disgusted by all these comments! These Pastors work day and night helping people preaching the word sleepless nights preparing the word. Do you all really thing that God would not bless these men of God with riches for the work theyare doing for him. These men deserve every million, house, car and beautiful family that God has brought into their lives because of the way they have selflessly served God. if you really think that people who work for God should be poor then you are ignorant and do not know the many blessings that God has for you if you do His work. These people are human. The fact they are pastors doesnt mean they dont have problems. this is just to give you glimpse of the emotional hardships of a pastor behind the scenes. i give these men props for having the gutts to show the world how hard it really is to be a pastor and that it aint as easy as we see it. hating on them and swearing at them makes you judgemental. Live your life and let them live theirs!

+Gabb Gabby if it's ok for them to be rich and have it good in life, and if it was also ok for king solomon and job to, then it should be ok for us to as well. what's funny and stupid about christians who mention jesus yet talk about god giving blessings is that they contradict themselves. on one hand, they say jesus hated the rich and implied that we're all supposed to be as broke and live as horribly as possible, but on the other hand they act like it's great if someone has a lot of nice things and riches if they think god blessed them with those things. so, if god and jesus are two separate entities, this would mean that they would disagree with each other on the matter of human happiness and well-being and the money that can help facilitate it. this would mean that jesus would have had to have hated job both before and after god and satan temporarily destroyed his life whereas god would have been just fine with job the entire time and would've had no problem with job being rich both before and after that god and satan's bet. it's ok to be rich or at least financially secure to be able to still have it at least somewhat great, and have a good, awesome life, despite what christians say.

+rac2873 oh my goodness!! it's horrible that those preachers and pastors are rich! oh no! what ever will we do!? wasn't it just awful how job from the bible got not only all of his wealth back, but TWICE as much as he had before god and satan's bet where his life was temporarily ruined before he got his wealth back? it's bad enough he was already rich before that bet, but then he became TWICE as rich after all of that!? such bullshit! fuck! oh, and let's not forget how terrible it was for king solomon to be rich and have all kinds of wealth. god was being an asshole for disregarding his son jesus's wish for all people to live horrible, poor lives, by making solomon rich. jesus must've been throwing a tantrum when he learned about job and solomon with how his dad god made them rich. jesus must've hated them because they were rich and must've been really mad at his dad god for that! seriously though, if job and solomon were rich and god was ok with it, then it must be ok to be rich. if it was ok for them to be rich and live it up and enjoy life, then it must be ok for us to do the same. if you think about it, some of the things jesus said in the bible were batshit insane. he tells you're that you're "sinning" if you as so much look at and sexually desire a woman when yet it's normal and there's nothing wrong with it, and it's one of the main reasons why guys pursue sexual activity with women to begin with, including where guys get married to them and have kids with them. he implied that it was impossible for a rich person to enter heaven when yet job and king solomon were rich and it was implied that god was ok with them and took good care of them and that they most likely went to heaven after they died, and jesus mentioned selling all of your possessions and giving away everything you have, but he implied that to be the case for everyone. so, if a rich person gave away ALL of their possessions and money to a poor family, that poor family would then be rich, and jesus would then hate that family since jesus implied that wealth was "sinful" and to get rid of it and give it to someone else so that it would supposedly then be their problem as they would then have that wealth that would then make jesus hate them. jesus really never understood the importance of money since he didn't need money to live and enjoy life since he had supernatural powers where he could do things that no other human could do and he could survive without food or water, since afterall, he survived that way in a desert for 40 days when yet anyone else would've been dead after a few days of something like that.

At the end of the day. Yes, ministers are held to a different standard (that's literally biblical); however, humans are humans and we are all on our journeys in perfecting our faith and deepening our relationships with Christ. I appreciate these men for being willing to be transparent and honest in their journeys-- no I don't agree with every thought or action, but to be fair, I don't agree with every thought or action of ANYONE including myself. We are all trying to figure it out and the reality of any journey with Christ is that it's messy and it's turbulent. It's not always lillies, cupcakes, doves, and praise dances. It's hard and doesn't always look pretty. But they are still trying and i believe this platform could potentially open people up to Jesus in a way where someone can say, if they go through this and are imperfect yet Love the Lord and He is still working on them-- then same for me. I wish we could have more empathy and love in the church and not the judgy comments I've seen here. God Bless!

For all of you who are condemning these men for their mistakes and what they have, the Bible states that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. The problem with Christian society is not always that the pastors are unclean, but a lot of times the issue is that we idolize them and worship them so when they make a mistake, in our minds it taints ALL OF CHRISTIANITY. MY God said that he will have no other God before him, even if the idol is a vessel of God. Worship the right God!!!!!

If anything, it's promoting the word of God and it shows that preachers are human and deal with problems that everyone else face. The only preacher I recognize was Bishop Clarence E McClendon

All of us who have truly been washed and fully baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and fire filled with the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1 & 2. Read Jude and pray. "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy." Jude 1:24. Fast and pray fervently fight the good fight of Faith. They will return to holiest. In fornication sin and pride God is able to deliver. I BELIEVE.

“No todo el que me diga: ‘Señor, Señor’, entrará en el Reino de los Cielos, sino el que haga la voluntad de mi Padre celestial” (Mt 7,21) .Mateo 6:24 dice: "Ninguno puede servir a dos señores; porque o aborrecerá al uno y estimará al otro, o estimará al uno y menospreciará al otro. No podéis servir a Dios y a las riquezas"

And since you are the lone person praying for these men, I pray you are the lone person getting all of the blessings that should have gone to folk called to pray for them, but the they refused. In JESUS name. (I pray that for all who pray for these men.) Personally, I don't have a problem with their lifestyles. Solomon had solid Ivory thrones with pure gold overlay. He wasn't shopping to ease his mind about war. He was in peacetime. GOD blessed him. GOD walks on streets of GOD. Prov. 10:22 true

So many blind people....Someone has decided to put right in front of you what really happens. Yet many refuse to believe and rather say they are lies. If the show is fake or not who cares. The thing is that this is what pastors really do!

this program is to show you not only about their lives as pastors but also the duties that they are required to perform like other beings, like fatherhood. I personally will watch this program not because of the people inside but as long as they speak truth, that is what i will take and i will know it is the truth by examining it in the light of the word of God.Next time before you begin condemning, i would encourage you to go on your knees and hear what God has to say to you first.

1 Tim 6:9-10: "But those who purpose to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all evils, for which some being greedy, have strayed from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Watching McClendon who had obviously decided to just dismiss Haddon and Jones' insistence that McClendon talk to Haddon was priceless. Men of God can get their feelings hurt, they have ego issues, can be misunderstood but going to a brother who has offended you to talk it out is scriptural....glad they shared that moment with us....bcuz in real life, real issues can develop between preachers who both love God..the way they handle those issues will either promote the Kingdom or bring shame to it
