You have no idea how perfect the timing is with this video. I've accepted the position of prayer coordinator at church and it's so far outside my comfort zone that it's unreal (I very much dislike praying out loud). I am humbled, scared out of my mind, yet so over the moon excited to see what God has planned.

Mary Winfrey God is the only True Comfort zone very blessed to read your honest answer..smh...I can relate but I promised myself about 3yrs ago that I would do whatever God placed on my heart.. Your fear is (part of) your qualification. Think The Christ, at Gethsemane, "...if there be another way take this cup from me (mortal terror), never the less not MY will... YOUR will be done (obedience in faith). The farther we are from our comfort zone, the more we rely on God. The more we rely on (surrender to) God, the more amazing the work that is done. May God blow your mind with the success, shown by the fruits, of your new mission / ministry.

I love his passion and excitement to “get” to talk with God! Give me that same desire Lord🙌🏾

I love that a prayer life is not at all about performing rituals for God, but is about having a relationship with God.

Amen. Lord forgive us for our folly. May we trust in You with our whole hearts. May You give us the desire to want to pray more and spend time in Your presence. May our understanding and knowledge of You deepen every single day. So that we may reverently serve You and see how much of a privilege it is that we can call upon Your Holy, Majestic and Sovereign Name. Amen.

Agreed. I dont appreciate whats being told in many churches now adays catering to what ppl want to hear. Once we speak the real truth of bible nothing skipped out, ppl feel judged insensitive to the true meaning behind it and get into state of denial. Thankfully we have someone like francis who always teaches bible as is good and “bad”

Pastor Chan, I can not say enough How I am so Blessed to have this connection with your messages through you tube. Listening and reading the word gives me so much confirmation. Some times I listen and I go to the word and realize how so many churches do not get it. I found a small Church that is so different then the church I have been going to for over 11 years. I have a passion for the homeless but I am on a fixed income. I so prayed for God to show how and were can I help people more. This church does so much for the homeless, I cried for joy that I am going to do what I feel that God called me for. Thank You Pastor for excepting the calling of ABBA cause you give a message that may make people feel that they do not want to leave their comfort zone. I am ready to do the work that he has chosen for me. Blessings to you and your loved ones. You are truly a man for God. Hope I can meet you one day. South Jersey here.

Nothing matters but Jesus! My identity is in Him and His will

I am praying amd won't stop praying to keep me in his presence to love to serve unconditionally where we I find peace joy . Am I ask for his presence be with my family for my wife to let go of the bitterness caused in our past sins the one I did and anything blocking her from having the relationship with christ so we can be stronger for reflection his love to our kids and the rest of the world around us. Watching this for the first time and the Holy Spirit convicted me to the point of tears. God is so so good.

Thank you! Your right it's a privilege to talk to almighty God! I still learning...long long way to go! Unless we really spend time knowing him from his word, we won't & can't know him the way we should! I like that...." His eyes run to and fro..." He loves us more than we ever will understand..

Prayer. Everytime I hear that word, I realize how much I desperately need Christ to change my heart continuously.

I am falling down on my prayer life according to Chan....Hard to know how hebrews did not have a extreme fear of GOD after seeing what they witnessed visually....

JoJo Bean I’ve made this kind of mistake and received revelation of how when you pray for God’s mercy, grace, forgiveness, and so on you always receive to give and as you give He is actually doing the work of creating a testimony of a saving relationship between you and Him for others that builds faith and it takes faith to get prayers answered and it all comes back to trusting God/LOVE through Jesus. He’ll take care of it and if you’re lucky your enemy will come to Jesus and love you.

The Lord actually showed me in a dream once how he was raining down fire from heaven but when it hit the atmosphere I got nervous about what was happening and stomped it out. We have the power to call on Him and the power to stop the blessing He sends.

I was reading through the comments and really trying to hear those who criticize FC and his teaching. I dont know about his relationship with Rick Warren or some of the other people mentioned. I dont know about all the negative things brought up about him because I do not know him. They very well could be true, but I dont get to see him, know him, or have discussions about his heart. I DO know that I tend to be picky about who I listen to and try to be discerning. I have not seen enough evidence to prove that FC is anything but a person who sincerely loves Jesus. I get a lot out of what he says and my walk with Christ is challenged and changed. I was really reminded in this one about not only the power of prayer, but about WHO it is we pray to. I love what he said about being changed by God and not just accountable to those around us aka relying On God not just on others. The only concern I have with this video (other than the statement he made about if you don't pray at least an hour a day tell me so I can fire you. Sounds legalistic to me. My relationship with Jesus is MY relationship. No one gets to dictate how long I pray or dont.) is that someone watching this who doesnt hear answered prayer the way FC does will feel like God loves them less, or they are not praying hard enough or with enough belief. Truth is God answers prayer in a number of different ways and it isnt always the way we think He will or should, but it is always for His glory and not ours. I loved the way this message challenged me and will likely listen again.

Wow, you are a mature Christian, and you are correct about everything you just said. I was always told, eat the meat, but spit the bones out.

As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. Romans 14:1 the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, peace.... not quarreling, not judging, not despising, not troublesome, if we have this, still we are in the flesh.....😊

This is soooo good. Really hits home, and makes me want to be even more intentional about everything I am trying to communicate with someone about faith.

He really likes telling that story about that boy and his daughter. It is really good, though. I love listening to what he has to say.

They say "you pray, God listens to you" Or my husband calls me when I'm in the middle of studying scripture just to talk about nonsense! I send them these kinds of videos and they still don't get the urgency!!! Just discovered you today. Love the devotion and that the attention is all to God. I understand what you are saying Monica. I was one of those children who would ask their mother, father grandmother and aunt to prayer because they were prayer warriors. Growing up, I didn't understand how could someone pray and fast for so many hours, on their knees in tears. I am older now and understand, without prayer I cannot do anything. I still dont have the commitment they do but im praying God helps me surrender completely. All you can do is pray for them and in God's time, He will open their heart towards Him and the mantle of your prayer can be passed on and carried down your generations to come.

To the haters and critics: When you throw a rock in a pack of dogs the one who yelps is the one that got hit. Those who are guilty of a sour embittered heart vomit up complaining, accusations, and putrid words. People who lack influence and hate their small lives, hate on imperfect people who God uses for massive influence to improve the lives of people across the globe. FC answers to God for any mistakes he makes. And likewise you answer to God for the bitter accusations you make against any imperfect vessel of God. Jesus said “Forgive them (incl: religious people who don’t know God) for they don’t know what they are doing.” Let your own negative words be a testimony against you if you chose not to ask God for forgiveness for speaking against someone who loves Jesus. I pray your heart would be healed. That you would know the peace of feeling clean and that you would know the joy of positively impacting others without the burden of a poisoned heart. Satan is the true enemy not a person. Rise up and take off the cloak of bitterness. Let Jesus wash you clean of sadness and self loathing. You can experience freedom! if you will...

A quibble. God is not just "in heaven'. He is there, yes. But he is imminent and everywhere.

There is Only One Leader..and that is Jesus. Jesus said to "Seek Him and HIS Righteousness." Jesus did Not say..Seek a man or a church or Pharisee stuff in the bible. Jesus is an Individual Personal Savior..He is the Only One Who Knows what is Right for me..and you. He is Who we should be seeking and is our only True Leader.
