I don't understand what is wrong from what he is saying. I don't understand how some Christians can go about saying Francis is misled. In all honesty, all I hear is a pure heart seeking the heart of Christ and willing to put God above all else in his life. It's SO disappointing to hear other individuals from our own faith make this seem like he is delusional. Keep preaching the TRUTH Francis Chan that hasnt been taught enough in this generation. I look forward to the Holy Spirit moving with this truth and humility.

The only thing I have seen is that he has preached at churches and been at conferences with false teachers. The question is should he be more discerning or is his true teaching in these settings God’s plan for those attending. I have come to the conclusion that both are needed. I am a fan of Francis, his humbleness and love for the Lord convicts me.

Cor. 2:14 It's sad, but it's how Franchis and other true followers of Christ preaches: christians in western [our] countries expect an easy life. They understand and expect only physical blessings. They're not able to understand 'spiritual' blessings, that's why it's strange to them what Franchis telling 😔

I feel the same way nesha Dhindsa I sense a man that truly fervantly loves the Lord his heart seems pure and I sense his love for the people wanting us to know the Lord I pray that the Lord reward him for standing for truth the bible says man looks on the outward appearance but the Lord look at the heart.

I love Francis Chan. He is truly a man of God.

He will never know how many thousands and thousands of people he impacted by warning us of watered down Christianity. His book "Crazy Love' changed my journey forever. Changed my family, my children, our eternity... we were on the wrong path, totally deceived by this American Christianity that is getting more dormant every day and eventually will just die. Thank you Francis, you will never know how grateful we are for your strong, real, truthful shepherding.

@@mariateresa9965 we're not meant to be doing things just because we're used to doing them, but because that's the example we see in scripture. If scripture told me to ask for Mary's help I would be doing it too, but it doesn't say that anywhere. Christ told us to pray saying "our Father". Yes we are told Mary would be called blessed, that's correct, but it doesn't say she would be called blessed and also prayed to.

The more I pray and read the Bible I didn't realize I was starving the devil... The other night I felt a godly presence in my home and felt completely safe and at peace because I've been angry and was so distracted with looking at the pit falls and disappointments in my life. So I prayed and started reading the Bible and I fell asleep and I had a dream of wicked stuff. I woke up right away and knew it was the devil trying to get to me and make me feel angry again. So now I sit with God and pray everyday. In Jesus name, please keep protecting me, my family and my mind. God bless all. Amen

Brother, I pray for your peace. you need to fully know the Truth or else the sin will have dominion over you. You need to ask yourself and them, are they preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom or Gospel of Grace? These two are not the same and they can't be teach the same way. Clearly it shows in Galatians 2:7-9 KJV. Unless they don't teach it. But we can know the Truth when we seek Him, answers are all around us.

Hello Joy. I admire your honest confession. Please don't take my words the wrong way or think that I do not care. Just understand that we all are in a battle .... Father God wants to live with Him forever and the devil wants us to suffer . You and I have to make a decision to be faithful and grateful to Father God. For me it is God or nothing. (I surrendered to the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and my addiction to alcohol was gone.) For this reason I trust God and nothing is more important to me than living in freedom. Free to love God with joy and reverence is a beautiful goal for each day. You honestly decide once and for all to put God Jesus Christ above everything else and your life will change for the better.

45:50 is exactly how I've been feeling. Everyone looks at me and goes "you're doing great with God." However, there's this longing in my soul that tells me I'm not done. I'm not where I'm called to be. Then it hit me... I don't want to suffer and when I do I try to avoid it again. Praise the Lord that I watched this because this was an eye opener. By no means does this fix anything. This is just the beginning to a very hard road. However, this road will lead to great rewards in heaven.

That quote just doesn't sit right. If there can be no love without suffering, then would everlasting life in the world to come be loveless since suffering would be no more? Did love not exist in the brief period in human history when sin and death had not ravaged creation? Why then did Jesus endeavor to alleviate any suffering of anyone if not out of love? Those words come off as inconsistent with Holy Spirit and I can also see how that phrase could easily lead to spiritual (or any other kind of) abuse masked under "there can be no love without suffering." I think the Pope should have thought better of how those words would land before saying that if he actually said this.

America's church has lost touch with what "BELIEF" or "FAITH" really means. They come from the greek words "PISTAEU" and "PISTIS" meaning trust in, commit to, entrust life with. It's not about believing there's a God in heaven. Even the devil believes that. It's about commitment to our Creator and His ways. It's about daily denying ourselves and picking up our cross (a symbol of our willingness to die to self) and follow Him. It's about doing His will, not our own; walking in His Spirit, not our flesh. It's about truly making Him our LORD, not just calling Him that. It's only by dying to what we want that will lead us to finding the life we've been created to lead. Even Jesus had to do the will of His Father (John 5:19). When God is our LORD, it's far easier to embrace suffering, willing to face whatever God puts before us.

@@christiancoder454 Only God knows what you should do. Your part is to daily seek Him and lay your life at His feet (pray for His guidance). Most likely, He will start by teaching you His ways and transforming your life. If you haven't been filled with His Spirit, seek that as well. Dan Mohler is my favorite preacher. He has an incredible passion to wholeheartedly serve God that is infectious. A great way to break down the type of surrendering we should have comes from the greatest commandment. To love God with all our heart (whole hearted devotion), love Him with all our mind (filling it with His Word), and loving Him with all our soul (let His Spirit fill us and guide us). This will help you have a balanced faith. We will fail at doing these things at times, but realize that everyday is a new day, and that we live already forgiven. God Bless.

@@christiancoder454 if you are struggling, you should not be a missionary. Go back to what your first intentions were as Jesus told the many in Revelation though they were doing many good things. You being a missionary and doing good deed will not fix your issues of faith and it will not help your confusion or give you salvation. Pray for God to give you understanding but you can't understand what you don't read, read God's word and let him speak to you through it. You cannot grow and get understanding without it. We are told that the people perish due to lack of knowledge and yet it is God who gives wisdom but he gave us his word, don't overlook it.

Mr. Chan you often seem very frustrated that Christians in the US are not on fire like you. I'm like you, just head over heels in love with Jesus and it bothers me I cant get other Christians to be as enthusiastic and on fire as me. It even seems sometimes like I'm the only one who gets it. I say all that to say I want you to have peace this is what Jesus meant by some produce 30,60, and 100 fold. Not everyone is like us Mr. Chan they don't even have the ability. I'm not famous like you but when I hear you preach I see we are alike in a number of ways. Over the years I've done some "crazy" stuff like give away my possessions to keep my lot small in life. You can't do it cause you don't have the authority. Paul said let each man prove his ministry with signs now mine is proven correct unless you can indeed come up with a miracle.

I guess the part where he said "I want to be like that speaker" does hold truth to me as a young aspiring speaker, but such in the way of his honesty of confession. I want to be in a pastoral position screaming at people of how broken I personally am without Jesus, and that I truly am the biggest hypocrite I know. I want Jesus to humble me so much that I tremble at His greatness every time I come into His presence. The Church began to allegorize the text pretty early and thus Satan and the forces of evil were able to confuse the Church pretty quickly about the central & foundational doctrines of Christianity itself. Biblical Soteriology has suffered terribly under nearly two millennia of Roman Catholicism and its heretical version of Christianity. Francis is accurate how we get caught up in stuff and distracted. We the church forget when the Lord walked the earth there was no internet or mass transportation. It is the Word of God that changes others. The Lord knew this and He knew that not all would hear and come to Him. Even as He walked among the crowds. So our job is not to layer our efforts to construct good youtube content or Facebook posts. Our job is to present the gospel “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics.[a] 4 And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5 And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”

Maria Saving faith means believing in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life (cf 1 Tim 1:16). Nothing else is saving faith. Not only is believing for everlasting life enough, it is the only way to have everlasting life. Jesus guarantees everlasting life to all who simply believe in Him for it with no strings attached. DO YOU BELIEVE THIS? The salvation obtained by faith plus works is not soteriological entrance into heaven. Rather it is a salvation of "brethren" (regenerate believers) from the temporal, psychological, spiritual, or possible physical consequences (sin unto death) of a non-working faith resulting in a negative assessment at the Judgement seat of Christ. It's imperative not to confuse the "Judgement Seat of Christ" with the "Great White Throne Judgement, the latter is for non-believers and if you believe the first paragraph Maria you have just become a "Child of God".

The second paragraph sounds like you are saying that: Without works, "consequences...of a non-working faith [result] in a negative assessment at the Judgment seat of Christ." Does this "sin unto death," result in spiritual death, before the Judgment seat of Christ? According to you, it sounds like, without works, faith is dead, and so are you, and you do not see eternal life.

Where in the bible does it say to elevate Mary to the point where she is equally praised in the catholic church? Re. sacrifice, Jesus was sacrificed once for sins. Hebrews 10:12-14. If you believe Jesus body is being killed and blood spilled everytime you go to Mass, you are making the same mistake as the Jews who continued to follow the Mosaic covenant. You have not accepted the forgiveness of Jesus which is freely given. I hope you rethink what you have been taught, read the scriptures and see what Jesus has already done for you and accept his sufficient sacrifice.

I feel u I been Preaching to people’s and they don’t want nothing to do with God and that makes my so sad who would not want something God is so so good my family looks like they are Falling apart also friends sometimes I’m like what’s going on

I think Frances had an amazing job through out the years and even though he thinks no change is happening we all know is not our time to work on the others but God's timing. My brother currently he sounds little stressed . That is why in the church that I attend they push for connect groups so we can do just that in addition to Sunday and weekday service. I believe he is talking about a pastor named weng Li.. if you google weng Li China pastor letter I think you’ll find it- he wrote a few. He is now sentenced to 9 years in jail. God bless EDIT: actually it’s not, I don’t know who he was talking about

*rubs temples* man, christianity is so frustrating. You want to do right but its so hard. And just when you start making a little progress you hear a message like this and its like you aren’t even really doing much compared to the bibles expectations. Its a very complex relationship.- certainly worth fighting for but its extremely exhausting in every way imaginable.

1:08:30 although I agree that God has no absolute need of anything, I believe that he desires to use us and things so in that sense like when Jesus told the disciples to get a certain donkey, he tells them to say, "The Lord has need of it.". This is why you can't just take one verse and exclude all else. There are also verses we could look at and see that we are made to serve him and you seem to disagree.

Try the chrome plugin "ears audio toolkit" you can raise the computers audio higher than default that way.

We should not base doctrine off opinion or personal interpretation. Let word interpret the word. We as humans can be so indoctrinated by world view and value opinion above truth. I was in my secret place a while a go and Holy Spirit said never become a cultural Christian. I thought that is a epidemic in the church where we identify more with church we go to rather than the God we are to abide in. Does suffering also apply to things like depression? Sometimes when I think of suffering like Francis was saying I only think of persecution. Or perhaps if one of your family member dies, would you consider that suffering like Francis was teaching about here?

The Apostles were suffering for Preaching Jesus Name only.... That's why they suffered. They taught Baptism in Jesus Name, they taught receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. They taught true Repentance.... They taught Jesus Name only. Not a trinitarian doctrine. That's why they suffered they didn't follow everyone else. We Preach Jesus Only.. That's why our fellowship is rejected by this World. United Pentecostal Church International. That's why we aren't considered Orthodox Christians, we are called names, we are rejected by most fellowships Why? Because we Preach & Teach .... Jesus Only.... that's why the Apostles were persecuted... Preach Jesus everything & they will reject you. ONE GOD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM..

Francis Chan teaches that christians cannot have demons and that is false. Deliverance is an ongoing process that most likely will never end. Our flesh is infested with demonic spirits and will never be like Jesus's flesh. He is the only spotless and demon free person to ever walk the Earth.

Francis chan is not preach false Catholic doctrine(fables)1 John 4:1 KJV - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Paul Davies Francis Chan is getting it. He’ll be Catholic soon. Nothing about the Catholic Church is man made. First 1500 years of Christianity the Catholic Church was the only church. Until martin Luther came and started taking books out of the Bible and wanted to take revelation, James, Hebrew, and other books out as well. Is that the man you want to follow? That’s evil.

Perpetual adoration is praying in the spirit , St Paul says pray in the spirit at all times , the act of bodily movement unto liturgy expressing adoration leaves the believer restricted unto premises .Is premises not within us ? The action of carrying out adoration is attributed to Holy Spirit working in you and through you , through beholding , and should this be the motivation unto movement of the said liturgy that would be a blessing indeed. As our sinful nature flesh , is at war with spiritual , continual adoration cannot be achieved through learned movement of a body , unto beholding a said accident . Faith in beholding Christ gives forth grace creating the abundance unto sin increase through no sin consciousness, in the knowledge perpetual being that of old covenant ,and perfection the new ,ref Hebrews 10 , the reminder of sins is that of imperfect sacrifice . Being led to liturgy of any type through sin consciousness constitutes acknowledging the blood offering not availing , to continued justification in Christ , hence adoration is robbed of its true essence and thus becomes law , therefore nullified before a holy God , although constituted as righteousness before man in of himself . Have you not already eaten when you came to know the truth , hence life. Transubstantiation created by means of offering sacrifice with human hands unto God cannot be achieved Acts 17 v 25 he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 1367 dogma was not practiced pre Nicean church don’t be deceived . Thanksgiving and adoration yes with ref to blood and flesh .
