I received a call from someone claiming that an iPhone and Mac computer were purchased for $9,000 using my credit card. They asked me if I recognized these charges and said that they could refund the money if I provided my credit card information. I informed them that I was the person who made the purchase and they hung up on me. It was funny

This is truly the most satisfying and best video I have seen. Thank you for all you do.

This is extremely brave. These are multi billion dollar business’s that are used to breaking the law to maintain a profit. This really felt like a movie.

Because if they said they make $60k a month and paying their employees $7k a month and looking at the video they probably had 100s lol that's impossible. I think he probably meant INR 7k

If you pause at 15:45, their monthly target is 1.8 million. even if they had 100 workers, with a third of them works as closer that earned twice the amount ($15k instead of $7k), that's "only" about 1 million dollar in salary expense. Take another $500k for infrastructure expense and bribes to authority, the boss still walk home with $300k per month.

@@noneB974 Those salaries are definitely in ruppes, not USD. There's a video on Karl Rock's channel, shot covertly his friend, posing as job seeker, interested in working at one of those centres. He was offered 9.000 rupees a month during his trial, rising to 10k after a few months. Bonuses however were very generous, for example 3 successful scams a month would double his salary (18k)

My mom got caught by one too. She was upset and tired and on her cellphone, and ended up giving them her credit card information. Luckily she called me immediately afterwards and told me about it, because after she hung up with them she started getting suspicious. So we got her credit card cancelled and a new one issued, so they didn't get any money from her.

Yep it's no joke. People even got killt because of illegal SAND extraction (sand for concrete). If enough money is in the play the really bad guys show up

I had to stop and pause for a second. Of course (or rather hopefully) this video wouldn't be uploaded with such an upbeat tone if someone got hurt, but...gosh that was scary.

As someone from India, I am proud of you, but at the same time disappointed in my own country. Shameful that someone from a different country has to solve the issues that the countries government could never. I am really, really grateful to you Mark.
