Hi Pastor Bill, What a wonderful lesson. I can testify to this because I have experienced some of the most beautiful touching moments with the Lord when I chose to praise him when things were so heartbreaking for me. Looking back on my worship I actually experienced the Lord more when I praised him in the hardest moments then when things were good. I believe the Lords desire is for everyone to experience the same thing. Wow Thanks so much for this teaching! 🕊

Wonderful message. Your messages are always so timely and holy spirit guided. Thankyou for this chanel. Has ministered to me so much and helped me through a challenging time and helped turn it into a time of immense spiritual growth. I was actually watching another KZread sermon video from you recently on the same topic that focused on this passage in Isaiah 60-62 and the video seemed to "malfunction". Half way through watching the sermon the video stopped playing and switched to a star wars video. It still listed Bill Johnson teaching and the name of the sermon but now was showing a star wars video. I kept stopping the video and trying to restart it but no matter how many times I did it kept starting on your sermon but then a few seconds later jumping to this random star wars video. I couldn't understand what was happening until I tried one last time to click on the sermon and all it played was you saying "The imagery" then it jumped to the star wars video. Suddenly it clicked oh .... Maybe This "malfunction" actually has some relevance to the message. As I watched it showed 2 people being pursued by evil attackers. They reached a large gate but it was locked and they yelled out "the gates are locked" as the evil pursuers closed in. Then suddenly the gate opens with this bright white light and a Jedi emerges and quickly dispatches the attackers and ushers them through the doors to safety..... The imagery. I have this great photo on my phone of the video titled bill Johnson teaching - Arise and Shine but showing a star wars video of a huge Gate opening bathed in bright white light with a warrior with a white sword emerging 😅 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you But you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

​@@BillJohnsonMinistries Yes sorry it was not part of your sermon video nor was it an advertisment - it was from another channel - but youtube was showing it when I clicked on your sermon. I'll try and add the link in a comment below but youtube usually blocks cross posting videos. If you want manually look it up I just searched for it and its called "Ahsoka owning the New Inquisitors" I was mid way through your sermon Arise and shine on this same topic - then suddenly half way through it refused to continue playing and was showing this clip instead. KZread was all titled correctly as if your sermon was playing - but it just kept showing this random star wars video instead. I kept closing it and must have reopened youtube and reclicked your sermon 20+ times trying to you watch the second half but it just kept playing this other clip instead. I was about to give up and clicked on your sermon one last time and it just showed you in the sermon for 2-3 seconds say "the imagery". Then once again jumped to the the star wars clip. So this time though I decided to watch it and pay attention to the imagery - which I then realized matched pretty perfectly to your message on the gates of praise. I took it as the holy spirit giving me a clear picture of "what happens in the spirit" when we follow your teaching and "open the gates" through praise, worship and thanksgiving. At first with the "gates locked" Evil and darkness was winning - but as soon as the locked gates were opened - Gods light and grace pours in and cast out the darkness just like in the video :)
