Johnnie - Exactly my sentiments! I've prepared medium-sized notebooks for specific notes after hearing his messages for the 3rd time. First, I listen for pure Spiritual Joy. Second time, I listen for visualization, owning the verses and absorbing the Knowledge/Science. Praying right now! My wife and I went through similar rift experiences (completely my fault I might add lol) while dating long distance before getting married. By God's grace we became stronger together for the kingdom because of it. There is hope, and I pray Daddy in Jesus' name for showers of blessing, wisdom, and unity for Ruth-Anne and her man!

Religion gave me leaves; I wasted so many years of my life following legalistic, self-righteous doctrines. 18:48 - 19:09 I KNOW God loves me because He cleared up so much trash in my head of which I became proud but all of it amounted to a pile of dung. Philippians 3:8 Brother Bill is a voice in the wilderness who teaches what the Elect are not getting in the modern 'church'. The saying is true: The closer you get to denominational churches, the farther you stray from God.

@@BillJohnsonMinistries Men of God don't tell lies. The ability to monetize your videos is solely in the hands of the channel creator. Nobody else puts the ads on, only the content creator has that ability.

Miracles are not the only means by which we are transformed. Jesus said we are to live by Every word of God. How many believe every word of God. How many believe the entire Old Testament is literal and true. This is a big problem with Christianity. Once you put the word of God above the testimony of the world then you renew. This world is constantly refuting all the Bible and especially the Old Testament and this is a challenge in itself. Simply that heaven is above is a challenge to believe.

I’m glad this is recorded cause I nearly missed it @ 11:43 Jesus is not our older brother! :/ This is the first video that came up when I searched Bethel church sermon and Bill Johnson’s teaching is wrong. This is why it’s so important to know the bible for ourselves. This sermon focuses on “increase” @ 13:35, pruning the vine does not mean God will reward you, this is “manipulating scripture” to suit your message. Biblically, the first born received the blessing. Prior to Bill saying that Jesus is our older brother, Bill is talking about how everything is Jesus', as if he is the oldest son who received the entire inheritance. The very next sentence that Bill directly quotes is John 16:15 which directly speaks the point that he is trying to make. "He (the Holy Spirit) will take what is mine (everything) and declare it to you (saved Christians). Bill is talking about an inheritance. Outside of Jesus, man deserves no inheritance. Bill has never taught on a false doctrine that Jesus is our older brother, he is just using this as a reference to show that we have access and authority through Jesus.

13:35. Bill never says that God will reward you if you prune. His direct quote (13:28-13:35) is "You have to see that the Lord does everything for the purpose of increase. The Father is extremely focused on increase." 13:36 Bill then directly tells us of the scripture of the Talents and the Minas (Matt.25:14-30 & Luke 19:11-27). This parable is about increase, and how upset the master was when the man who he gave one talent to only came back with one talent- no increase. The master then told him: 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? I hope this helps you! After listening to that portion several times, I have come to the conclusion that Bill said "he [Jesus] IS our elder brother." Jesus is our elder brother, for we are adopted into the family. When you are born again, you become a son of God. Legally, because Jesus is called THEN Son of God, Jesus is our elder brother, which Bill said. Secondly, you are pruned to produce more fruit. The more fruit you produce, the greater your reward will be. Therefore, you need to STURDY your Bible.

Romans 8:29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. Romans 8:17 Heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. Video between about 6:30 through 7:05. Fruit is produced naturally as we grow and all fruit bearing branches get pruned. As far as I heard, Bill didn't refer at any time about getting a reward in this sermon except use the word "reward" in saying that God rewards fruit bearing with pruning. He uses the word "increase" in terms of providing us with the increase of productivity in order to advance God's kingdom.
