No measuring is allowed in this method. It is all visual, angles so that you can train your eye.

Drawing when there are contrast on the subject maybe fine but without understand anatomy of the head is a hit and miss when there are less contrast. I study sculpture decades ago, it helped me a lot to draw especially when there are so little details on the chin with a young lady. Thank you for the video btw.

Tanner! I really enjoyed your video😁 I was looking at this book and chanced on your channel when I was looking for reviews of it. What a well organized demonstration of the process. Thank you! Btw I did go ahead and buy the book😁

Your vlogs are always very organized. I was surprised to hear you use B -> 2H pencils as typically people move from harder to softer pencils. I hope you do something showing how you integrate the 2H into your process. In any case, thanks for doing this presentation.

My pleasure! I use the 2h in the later stages of the process to render subtle transitions in the halftones. I will be demonstrating this on an upcoming live event on my patreon.

Man must die Haare in Der suppe finden.

Bye.
