On the 20th anniversary of the company, Philipp Plein returns to Milan with a megashow featuring almost 100 looks on more than 80 models, showcasing the dynamic DNA of the brand. To a thunderous rock soundtrack, the Plein punk rebels hit the runway for a wild ride into rock’n’roll overload. They’re a freewheeling tribe on a mission, louder and freer than ever. Their weapon of choice? Guitars at full blast. Their wardrobe a high-volume, unapologetic roar of Mad Max attitude.
The Plein men come prepared in studded python biker jackets, hoodies pulled over their heads and high-vis sneakers. An arsenal of Plein logos and symbols, and dragster flame artwork energise the denim. Elsewhere, tailoring comes in sequined stars and metallic animal patterns; trousers decorated in a vampire mouth print. Silver hardware, spikes and chains give armour-like protection.
The women are fully-charged in lightning bolt metallic dresses with exaggerated shoulders, biker jackets worn with floor-length flowing gowns, rock t-shirts and mini-skirt suits. With studded corsets, multi-layers of heavy jewellery, thigh-high buckled boots and chainmail mesh, they are glam metal queens.
An exclusive collaboration with the legendary gods of shock rock KISS adds a final power chord. The band’s official logo appears throughout on patches, t-shirts, suits and dresses. As their foot-stomping song goes: get ready to rock and roll all nite.

I agree with you to an extent @EnderBugg. To me, battle vests and jackets with band patches should be an individual thing, based on your individual taste in music. However, I've been in the goth scene long enough to know that every few years, the alternative and underground fashion gets hijacked into high fashion and runway. And after the trend chasers move on, the true punks goths and metalheads continue on evolving the fashion for these subcultures. The DIY aesthetic is still there, if you want it, nobody _has_ to purchase these items. However, for those of us who are adults over 30 with higher income and find the fashion a lifestyle, I like to be able to purchase well made, sturdy pieces that can't be DIYed easily. Or pieces that look polished and don't have that shitty sewing, or flimsy craftsmanship of DIY. They can keep the shitty patches, for those who are basic or don't have their own taste in music.

Cool show, interesting garments - i adore the aesthetic of this brand, but songs in the beginning and music theme are obnoxious and lame. Heavy or glam metal would fit perfectly.

8 minutes of Mad Max to see the first dress and what I see KISS!!!!!! Sorry dude go back to school Plein. Mad Max came 6 years after KISS and with your concept I was expecting leather.
Not that good, and idk why you would associate "electronical music" with Kiss. I'm pretty sure they literally HATE your show and the music you chose for it. You might have tried to make a contrast but this definitely don't work.

So, they heard only about kiss or what is the big deal? And why have all that electronic or what is is music when the theme is rock?! From all the songs and bands, did they not find anything good or they don't know what rock is? They need to understans this music more to do this.
I mean....for 2020 this was way too literal....I loved the fits and I love the glam touch the sparkle...but the kiss logo????....can we not? Yes kiss is iconic as well as jean simmons face but yawn...I could have lived with the aesthetic of his actual costumes...almost had it with the silvery gunmetal blacks and spikes. Some dresses were perfect. The men DEFENITLY could have been a little more androgynous...The neon was tasteful but uggghhh just a little let down and expected something more timeless...still gawdy but timeless pleasssssee
