The mafia works in a similar way. You just keep breaking fingers until you get your desired result

Two words, post heat.
Sounds to me that anytime a pro does something it’s just pride in their work and the extra effort, great job man.

Experience & skill, no such thing as “extra” effort, it’s called “no wasted motion” when every aspect of life is approached similarly & you surround yourself with like minds success is the only possible outcome, took me decades to realize dad was 100% correct

The shop that installed my ppf left a lot of fingers under the hood edges. It looks horrible.
I've been a professional auto detailer since 2015 (7 different certifications) and somehow I knew from the start to use a heat gun. I've never done PPF before but I've put little decals on cars and that's always my go to when things don't sit right

Where are your certifications from if you don’t mind me asking?

@simplegaming6694 Renny doilies double black, psi, nano pro, blue wolf, and I can't think of the other ones right now I'll let you know Monday
I love the little push tools you have I've always used the back of a razor blade
All in the details...
Do y’all do work for the Hamilton Collection?
Wow, good job
Why is there no glue designed to hold edges of vinyl to save time like this
Great video, but you should have shown that you sprayed tack solution (ethanol) and that you cut the tip of the fingers with your blade
Details crazy
I've learned the hard way that sometimes when removing this is a disaster will even take off paint and decals that are painted on
@Michie1391

Usually caused by a poor repaint. Or not removing correctly
Rocket scientist 🥼
You need a little more slack on the corners or else you have to deal with this battle.
Yeah then next day when customer takes it they come back 😂
I gotta bring my s2000 back to your shop of a redo since there some dirt that accumulated in the XPEL on the edge from it lifting up on its own.
@jeffl1484

@A D Nah, it needs to be redone, it's in the corner where the headlight is reaching the front bumper near the fender.
Get some strut locks, I have heard of people losing figures while working on cars dye to the struts failing.

The best comment of all of them ⬆️ he definitely should look into that. Losing a finger to a hood corner would be brutal and deterimental to him and his business.

It’s not a wrap you guys in the comments it’s a paint protection film. Now you know what PPF means.

Why you wrapping a red car red?
Why is the wrap and paint the same color?
@BrayoTintsAndWraps

This is not color change vinyl. This is clear PPF.
is the film the same color as the OEM paint??

No its clear film so you can still see the oem paint right through it just protects the paint. They make a wrap that is the same oem color though.
The best way is to use paint

This is PPF, a clear wrap to protect the paint from scratches, literally says it in the title
That’s what she said
@chrischristophers618
Жыл бұрын
Okay did you barely learn this one?
There’s too much pressure on the film that will lift sooner or later. Relieve the pressure before working the fingers or whatever they call ‘em.
Thats called a "Transfer Bead".....not fingers. 😂 who comes up with these terms
Red wrap on red car
Yes this. Hot 🥔
Dabb of silicon latex to help. Just saying.
So technically the material is slightly thinner on the corners? Doesn't sit well with my nog🥴
Ça c’est le genre de truc qui ne tient même pas 1 an ou deux 😂
No wonder wrap jobs cost so much
Pros paint that shit
People that think they can watch this and do it you are wrong, takes years to become professional at PPF and know all the tricks.
So I decided to drive down MLK looking for the crispiest moistest most finger licking chicken I could find, instead I found Twan and his evil intentions ‼️
Preshrink
No fucking way I'd ever paid 10-k for someone to put a big ass sticker on my car. I'd rather pay 10-K for a 20-year paint job instead of a 2-3 yr sticker.

Aaaand that just cost you $500 to do that part of the hood.
over worked
Paint it… wraps look super cheap and fade out way too fast.
Wraps are a cheap way to paint a car, even if it were more expensive, it's still cheap, it's like a D brand skin for your car..

A very expensive way to ruin a car, they look great for a few weeks.
