Great cover. Powerwolf are not trying to change something that is already excellent. But nobody hits the high pitched notes like Rob Halford!

Hard to do this song bad. it's such a sick track too cover.Think it's a good job, he does the vocals good. Guitar sounds nice. Painkiller and Screaming for vengeance are my favorites but I'm a little younger than the die hard Priest Fan's. So the 90's was influential on my playing. The drum solo in the beginning had me hooked.

WELL , this cover illustrates just how powerful and full of feeling and emotion the songs from the priest are, this band sounds like a true prodigy of metal playing it, even if varies little from the original, i mean, they are great performers from their own right, but using the same melody and guitar arrays ,sound even better than they really are...good cover in my opinion, good effort... just my opinion

It's one of the most sensual and darkening songs (at same time) that i'v heard and this version simply freeze my spine

When I saw this after listening to it from Judas Priest and loving it while being a Powerwolf Fan for years.... Oh hell, what a gift.

@OtherWorlds AllWorlds Nowhere close... it lacks one of the key elements of the original - the somewhat hopelessly suffering and desperate tone that Halford did inimitably. Not to mention the scream at 4:38, which is supposed to be the pinnacle of the song; in this is maybe just a joke at most, compared to the original one. Decent cover, considering both the instrumental background and singing, but thousands of miles far away from the genuine Judas version.

@OtherWorlds AllWorlds On that we agree. Despite being him called as the Metal God, I'd neither say that Halford is the best metal vocalist of all. However his iconic high screams are something that in my point of view is really unique and hard to exceed, but the others (Bruce, Dio, Udo, Ozzy and the list goes on forever) also have *that* something that the others simply just don't. Even so I really love Powerwolf and appreciate all these covers they make; regarding this song, I just simply don't feel the exact same emotion that I do in the original one - but of course, it is just my opinion! :) In any case, these are all great and honorably quality music, so keep on rocking! \m/ (P.S. forgive me for the grammatical mistakes, English is not my native language)

Kudos to powerwolf for keeping this music alive!

it`s too clunky, I mean there`s no passion, I can`t hear him suffering, being emotional, this lacks here, and his half growl doesn`t belong here, he hits the high notes though,why not to make it closer to original I wonderю Oh, I`ve just reached the brake..Nope, it wouldn`t have been better not to try "you`re posessing me" so high, an octave lower would`ve been better.

@OtherWorlds AllWorlds music and art is not always about singing good and though Marc Martel is actually objectively a better singer than Freddy Mercury he`s not one and he`s not better in general. And the rest is objective, I`m glad you like this version better, I don`t

It just lacks halford, it's the same reason their Evil that Men Do cover isn't as good as Maiden, it's just kissing the iconic vocals of the 2 godlike frontman, Atila is a great singer, but nothing like Halford or Dickenson.

Power Wolf lacks the power of Judas Priest . This sounds like a Pop song. Power Wolf makes the music using Piano rather than guitar sounds

vocalist kicks ass, and these instruments are typical for Powerwolf.. making cover is NOT copying the original. it is playing the song differently. and i personally prefer this cover more than original.

Prefer the original 100%..
