At 4:41 you put the screws on the far holes in the mounting plate....at 7:56 you have it in the back 2 holes! Sneaky, you didn't think I was paying attention...lol!

Great vid. I do not have any experience with electrical. How was the wiring to the battery done? And sorry for being a noob but what exactly does the fuse box do??

Jeffrey Carter thank you for checking out my videos, if you make an investment on a power pole, you will not regret it, is the best thing you could do if you're fishing shallow water

I just painted mine black too. Do U have any problems with it scuffing easy? I’m thinking about clear coating it with flat too.

You linked where you got the materials, but what type of paint did you use?

How much does that thing eat ur battery? Im thinking of running one 12ah batt for lights and one 8ah for the fish finder and power pole.

StickiestLizard I have Two batteries thats it. Fish finder, micro pole can be running for 8 hours 3 days

I run a Garmin 7sv fish finder on a 9 AH 12V battery now. how long do you get on the power pole and your FF on the same battery when its full charged? do both of them use the same battery on your boat?

Godsson5335 I’ve gone 4 days fishing around 5-6 hours each day with this set up and both power pole and FF with no problem

What paint did you use on the power pole mounting plate. I pickup my mounting plate today. Got my pro 12 at the Houston Fishing show for $2,989. Thanks

So you are using one battery for the PP and fish finder. You recommend the fuse box also. thx

SoCal-FISHING-760 The set up that I have right now, allows me to fish more than nine hours nonstop with using the fishfinder and power pole. Fuse box up to you if you wanna use it.

Awesome video and tutorial! I'm looking into getting a pro angler as well. Was there a reason why you got the 12 instead of 14?

rayhollerrr I just didn't want to get an additional T-bones to carry in my truck and the 12 fits perfectly in it. And the stability on the 12 is not that bad as well it's really good

rayhollerrr i'm 6 feet 235 pounds I can stand on this kayak with no problem it's very sturdy. As for loading on my truck it takes me three minutes to load not that difficult very easy to do that that's the reason I went with the 12 instead of the 14 so I wouldn't have to be dealing with A T-bone. I'm thinking of doing a video on my set up let me know if you think it's a good idea

SoCal-FISHING-760 you sure can the power pole doesn't use up allot of batterie use, unless you are planning to use it for more then one to two days all day. They use need two. But one day normal use you should be fine

AZ BASS REAPER it looks great man. I did my atv with the rust-oleum scratch resistant plastic paints, and it came out great as well. That mounting bracket looks real clean though.
