I just checked out the pulley system -- LOVE that they call it the "Fischer Pulley System"!!!! Makes it easy to identify. I only have a Bixpy, but I'm a 70-year-old weakling so I need all the help I can get. Another awesome run through! Years ago I was watching you describe the features of your Hobie PA and my wife asked, "Who's the babe?" I explained that was the kayak I was planning to buy, and she asked, "Is she included?" LOL! I bought my first Hobie PA 14 last year, but with the changes I gotta switch to the 2024. I look forward to the future video you reference here. Awesome setup! Here's to hoping it leads to plenty of success. I'm eagerly awaiting your video on Hobie. Personally, my Hobie 360 has given me nothing but trouble, and the customer service experience has been far from satisfactory. It raises the question of whether Hobie's recent acquisition by an investment group has played a role in this decline. In any case, I've made the switch to Old Town, and I must say, it's been a very positive change. Best of luck in the year ahead!

Sorry to hear about your wrist issues. Hopefully, your Orthopedic can point you in the right direction for ergonomic improvements with your hand/wrist position while fishing and keyboarding with your channel editing and maintenance. Can you do a video on your sonar units? Like how you use them while on your kayak.

Robustness of construction and durability is key when you're the John NcEnroe of fishing. I remember the part where Kris bounced the rod tip off the water, like it was a tennis racket off the mud court at Wimbledon last year. Mind you, fishing will do it to the most passive amongst us at times.

The price to catch quality fish consistently. In comparison, my wife took awesome photo shots of short ear owls in a local spot. Good pictures but not as good as the other birders.She was using a $400 camera and $600 500mm lens. The crystal clear high end pictures that was posted by the other birders was shot with a $2500 camera and $3500 lens. The price to just to take pictures lol😅 I'll stick trying to catch fish

Great set up. I am really interested to see the motor lift set up close to see how the pulleys are rigged in the stern. I went from a 403 to the 1103 and really notice the weight difference. Thanks.

You can look at my rigging video from last year also, I think i had some close up. The 1103 is MUCH heavier, but this pulley system makes it weightless. Definitely a huge help. The link in my bio for the pulley kit, includes all the pieces you need to rig it on your yak

I run the LVS-34 Livescope Plus on my kayak, but run all Lowrance with Active Target on my bass boat. I still prefer Active Target for live sonar, with the Livescope Plus they're both good seeing fish, a slight advantage to the Livescope, however I haven't looked at the Active Target 2.

holy crap! kayaks have just become mini bass boats these days lol! I am sure someone is trying tto figure out how to creat the mini bass boat kayak conversion out there. For me when it comes to kayak fishing I am a keep it simple stupid kayak fishierman 3 rods a couple of boxes of tackle a paddle life vest net and off I go!.

problem with the Fisher Mount for Live Scope is that it doesnt stay aimed in one direction, it will twist in the water unless you are holding it and aiming it manually.

It does, all you do is tighten the knobs , that is what they are in place for to make it move more freely, or stay fixed

What is the total cost for the ultimate fishing rig? Love it.

Question: why mount graphs at your feet??? I get that you do it for the room, but with an H Rail, a graph (or two) can be mounted at your side, with the screen 18" from your face. I just think alot of people aren't seeing what they COULD be seeing. Otherwise, you have some cool mods going on there! See you at Harris!

Yes, the 60amp should run everything for almost two full days. The module is up front in under the hatch

It would often get stuck, halfway down, And I’d have to walk back on the kayak and physically pull it up .

More hook set practice will catch you more than more electronics. 💪🏻more muscle

Yes they have one for the 12! You can call the shop. As for the lock out, there’s a knob in the drive well, I’ve got a video on that coming up

The simplistic nature is what makes kayaks so attractive to me. If you gave me that kayak I would drill a hole in it and sink it. If you need all that to catch a fish then you must not be very good at what you do. You might as well buy a bassboat, you now have something so ridiculous you need a trailer and a truck just to go fishing. And whats worse is you actually think all this makes you a better fisherman, if it’s “all this” thats catching fish then this just proves you aren't very good
