New to kayaking after 4 different shallow water flats boats for the past 20 years. Looking at 2- PA 14's for the wife and myself. I love your simple set up and have decided to do both this way. I noticed your batteries are in parallel which is still 12 volts, but of course, increases amp hours. Thanks for the info.

Great looking setup I went and looked at my first Hobie today. Thinking about purchasing one very soon doing my research now. Hobie seems like the best bass platform for space and easy to use. Love the clutter-free but functional style you have.

I just sold my 16' bass tracker so i can downsize to a kayak. i been looking at a few different brands and i think Hobie is the brand im going to go with. Most likely a 14' PA. I like your super simple set up, thats the way i like to go fishing. So im looking to set up like you minus the rocket louncher and the lights... thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed your video! I really like the simplistic approach you have. The PA12 is already a heavy yak so I don't want to be carting around a lot of unneeded gear as well. One thing I would like to point out is the batteries. I am no electrician so someone correct me if I am wrong. You mentioned that you have (2) 12 volt batteries installed in your yak (I love the location of where you mounted them) which would give you 24 volts, however, I think you need to look at the amp/hours that each battery has to give you an idea of how long the batteries will last you on the water. It looks like each battery you have is 9 amp/hours so you have a total of 18 amp/hours to use. So, you'll still have plenty of juice on the water. Could you please so us how you wired your batteries as well as your fuse box please?

411sponge72 I appreciate your kind words, that means a lot to someone that just started posting videos. provide me your email address so I can send you the template I used to connect both batteries together.

What made you choose the PA12 over the PA14? Just curious because I'm trying to decide between the two.

Edward Hall The PA 12 it's small enough to fit on the back of my truck without any assessor he's and the PA 14 I would have to get a bed extender if I want to transport in the back my truck or get a trailer and that something you really don't need it's late enough to haul around wherever you want

How do you store you kayak when not using it for awhile? Do you leave it on the cart? Do you store it on its hull, side, flipped over? I hear so many different methods and Id like your take on it. Thanks!
