I was at the gym last night and this kid who works out there had broken his arm. His right arm is in a cast but he still goes to the gym and does what he can. This kid was doing front squats, setting it up and everything on his own with 1 arm. That's dedication.

I broke my leg last year and went with crutches. Gave me a hole new perspective of the challenges a disabled person has. Steps sucked, carrying weight etc. i had to hop on one leg to get the 20 kg weights to the bench.

Big facts
I cant believe people put these guys down. Passion no matter what the sport should be admired. This is one sport where i truly see passion and hard work beating out many factors that make others athletes dominate. Look at where some of these fella's started, not one gave into what the world thought of them. Inspiration at its finest for any athlete. The people putting these guys down are the people who will never set a world record, never be a world champion and never understand what its like to make there athletic dreams come true. Im an olympic freestyle wrestler and these guys inspire the hell out of me! When my wrestling days are done i will begin powerlifting and i will attack it with same intensity i attack my training now! The same way these guys attack training and life! SO FOR THE HATERS! FUCK YOU AND FUCK YOUR ELBOW!

@@RS-xq6je Good question, but if you watch some of Eric's training footage from years ago, this was common with him when he did high bar squats with submaximal loads. He has since switched to low bar squats. I've seen him doing high bar with 225-315lbs for warm-ups and the bar was bouncing like this.
This is the best video that's ever been posted to the 'KZreads.'
I watched this before my lifts for Bench, Squat and Deadlift days and I felt mentally down and I ended up getting 235 5x3 for bench, 295 5x3 for squats and hit a hug PR for deadlift 345 5x3. It was all mental work. Thank you for the confidence.

Great fucking job with this video bro
First speech be like :'' I'm about to say it: I don't care that you broke your elbow!''😂😂😂
You do this to find out your true potential. You have to push beyond your physical existence to lift more than you ever could. The human body is capable of amazing things, especially under intense stress. When my father got caught under a stack of hurricane shutters I dug deep inside and with every fiber of strength I was able to move it slightly so he could get free. You think I sat there and listened to my tired body? Hell no. So Mark is on to something with this video.

The MOST motivating powerlifting video on youtube.
I just love the passion, rage and pain in their eyes when they are lifting heavy shit. This passion is unlike anything I have ever seen., but that's just my opinion.
Been coming back to this video for 4 years now never gets old
I have watched/listened to this hundreds of times. Still love every second
Powerlifting: The Mentality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely devastated by hearing of KK's loss. Looked at his videos before every deadlift session. Rest in Power Legend.

Classic powerlifting video. Only the best. I come back to it every few months.
Probably the most motivating speech I've heard in my entire life

Love it... "the old wrestler inside of me wants to." Yep. I know that feeling.
I used to watch this video every day while I was bussing it to the gym from school back in the 12th grade (1st yr lifting), which was back in 2013-14. I'm now way more experienced and made alot of gains, and this still inspires me the way it used to back then.
Best video I've seen, really shows what we have to go through, pain is nothing.
For someone who doesn't have a PHD in exercise science, philosophy, or sport psychology...Mark Bell really hit the nail on the head. Awesome video.
WHO IS STILL LIFTING AND GRINDING THROUGH THE PANDEMIC, THUMBS UP👍💪
This is the greatest video for motivation, I listen to this during my work outs, gets me so fired up
What an awesome video...I have watched countless powerlifting videos on the youtubes over the years and this is by far the most motivational. I'm glad I don't have a bad elbow.
this videos fucking awesome.. this is actually what got me into powerlifting. so thank you, I've been opened up to the strength world and the way it's going I would never look back.
Well that made me feel like crap for not working out today...which in needed. Thank you!

i dont think were the same i believe some races are better then others at certain things, but we will never know because any research into differences between races is seen as unethical, basically the politicians dont think we can handle the truth i think we should embrace the fact we are different instead of lying to or selves an saying were the same
I won't say all that strength isn't impressive. I can't say that powerlifters don't sacrifice or aren't dedicated. My only question is, is all of that strength practical? For some, maybe, but for as many as there are, I doubt it. Not to mention that there's no competing with all of the synthetic enhancements used in the sport, it's completely fabricated strength in a lot of cases. Also, I don't believe everyone is headed for pain and misery in old age, just those that chose to eat all of that processed garbage that's pushed down our throats.
@Axe11331

Man ...the strenght is practical ...it's not fabricated strenght man ...you work thousands of hours even with sintetic shit ... and we are all heading to pain ! maybe one day you go out shoping wood ...and you fuck your back and never walk straight again ...just an example ! maybe tomorow your gonna be hit by a bus ... how are you happy working in a shitty job ...or something ... you have to follow what makes you happy and for this guys this is they're happy hour ! that's al; that must be said ...the rest who the FUCK cares

Emanuel Nistor I'd like to know how many of these guys chop wood for a living, by hand, with an ax. The only part of what you said that I can somewhat agree with is follow what makes you happy. We are all inherently selfish pricks, so might as well do that.

So is playing in the NFL practical? Is throwing a 90 mph fast ball practical? Its a sport. Its one of the few sports that you dont need anyone else bc you always have your self to compete against. Some people just dont get it and you Sir are one of them. Go back to your dismal life and ill go to the squat rack.
