Yep, Sayu (as far as leakers said) is a very good healer, with all great constellations and super easy to build, but has ER issues and only her burst heals (which costs 80 energy), so that claymore will probably be very good on her.

Just to add to the thing about the seed stacks on the katana, you can use all 3 on Ayaka reliably as each time you use her skill the entire seed count timer resets, meaning if you use her skill 3 times you will gain all 3 seeds and the 30s timer will start counting down after you get the last seed, Another thing to note is that even when switching charaters the seed stacks stay but will still disappear after 30s

Amenoma is insane on Jean. As long as you can keep the momentum going (always using your burst when you have 3 seeds, always starting fights with burst up) it pretty much lets you use her burst on cooldown without building any energy recharge, mostly cuz it synergizes very well with her talent that regens 20% of her energy on burst use. Getting f2p forge weapons to rank 5 is a pain though.

It might be pretty solid on Kokomi if she's paired with someone like Beidou/Fischl and if you can make them hit fast enough so that Kokomi is a one who procs it. Unfortunately I doubt it good on Yae if she's a main dps because that would probably mean she's getting attacks of before any of her supports could apply first, unless it's like Xiangling overload I suppose. The weapon screams wanting to be a sub dps weapon but has main dps requirements, which honestly kinda makes it almost useless...

I just want to add - about the claymore, it might go well on Beidou with the synergy of the new artifact Emblem of Severed Fate since it scales off of energy recharge. Hopefully someone tests it out though

You forgot one thing about the sword, every time you use your skill the 30 second cool down on the seeds will reset, so characters with a little longer cool down like Ayala or main DPS Kazuha it’s makes it even better on them

I think the number one way to use the catalyst is to put it on someone who’s on a team with the raiden shogun. Her elemental skill makes it so everyone’s attacks are paired with an electro attack. Therefore, if she’s on your team as support, this weapon pairs well and will just give whatever character is using it a consistent elemental boost!

Correction for the spear, when you say "effectively giving you 9 energy", the spear only gives 6 energy at R0 (because -3 + 9 = 6, don't forget you're paying 3 energy up front)

​@@Zy0x another thing to point out is that elemental skill is only refering to guoba for xiangling, so pyronado doesn't get the bonus, also hitting enemies with that thing is soo hard because it's AI is terrible so most of the time you won't be able to proc the effect, and even if you do, there will be some ocassions were your guoba will hit, you'll lose the energy and won't be able to ult until 2 seconds after, when the first 3 energy come back. overall, i don't think that weapon is too good for xiangling, it might be ok.

The timer for the seeds resets when you get a new seed, so as long as you use your E once every 30 second you will keep it.

Im guessing some of these weapons would make sense when new inazuma characters slowly come out, like that catalyst could probably look good with scaramouche

I'd love to hear more comparisons like that between the Hamayumi and the other bows during the Yoimiya video. A lot of times content creators seem to address the blacksmith weapons separately than gacha weapons, but as someone who has the option between R1 rust, viridescent hunt, blackcliff, or something like an R5 Hamayumi I'm very interested to hear how they stack up!

It quite fits the Vision Hunt Degree motif of inazuma. Elemental skills and Bursts are possible through a vision, thus these weapons would have somethings revolving around the energy storing system

Just in case you haven’t gotten the bow yet, it comes from the hut with 3 chests in it! You trade “mysterious conches” to be able to pick one of the 3 chests. You can pick once a day and the bow is the prize if you choose the right one!

Coming in 8 months late, but no, the "quest" takes place over a total of 7 days, and on the 7th day it's always the bow.

I think this format of video is fantastic. Not enough genshin youtubers doing an overview of all the new craftables and what characters they go on.

Insane count - 4 there are other adjectives but I do appreciate the breakdown on the weapons, all the new stuff is overwhelming!

I WANT to use the sword on Ayaka because it suits her so well visually, but thanks to Diona I don't really have ER issues and I have a hard time imagining this one is better than Blackcliff.

If the claymore wasn’t energy recharge and was atk% it would be perfect for Beidou. It’s probably good for sayu

If you're running Beidou with the new ER set (which is very good on her) then the ER substat on the weapon is worth it.

@@Zeik56 Agreed. If you are running the new ER set, then the ER on the claymore is equal to +11.5% burst damage. Base ER + 2pc set bonus + Claymore = 165.9% ER and +41.4% burst damage. That's without adding any other stats. That's huge both for ER and bonus damage. If you R5 the claymore you get a free +12 energy on every E. Funding her burst would be easy and that bonus damage is huge. You wouldn't even need to fish for ER stats on her artifacts, you could just build her artifacts for full damage.

I tried out the Sword (on Ayaka and Keqing) and Claymore (on Chongyun and Beidou) and both of them works really, really well.

do you have a plan on streaming or are you just live on random days?

i refuse getting blueprint for catalyst. that made-out-of-dirt maiden's quest was too tragic and too sorrowly beautiful. i want to keep the mask.

I think that the catalyst is gonna be insane for Yae and that it's only made for her, probably combined with the new ER artifact set.

definitely gonna give that sword to kazuha nonetheless, simply because my boy deserves a katana-looking weapon :v

You forgot to mention Mona comps when you talked about the catalyst. This weapon allows Mona to basically run a super viable "Fireworks" team now with Beidou and Fischl + Anemo support, where Mona will be on the field as your enabler proccing electro-charged and buffing Beidou + Fischls electro damage. The ER% substat is good for her to maintain burst uptime and part of it also gets converted to hydro dmg%.

Hey, are we going to see an addition to the Xinqiu guide with the new Artifact set? I know you mentioned having an update to the guide if the new artifacts were relevant to him. Thanks for the guides and info as always, always great to know what the community thinks about characters and their weapons.

I'll probably won't get a response, but doesn't the new catalyst paired with the new ER 4-piece set effect on a Mona + Fischl team seem kinda rad and a lot off damage??

what even is a mona fischl team though like electro charged mona? just so niche for only 10% buff, could be viable in some random weird teams though which can still be tested

@@Zy0x When I was still low level and didn't had that many resources, I used to run Mona + Venti + Fischl (those were my only 5* for a long time LOL), for some high dmg low investiment team, it was vary funny and Mona + Fischl with Fischl C6 can pack a punch, but yeah, don't think it can be really that viable on a high lvl abyss though :/

The catalyst is for yae miko she might have an energy mechanic like how her artifact set states

Only the bow is worth building btw. Unless you're so unlucky that some of those other weapons are actually good. The bow is insane.

@@henrymasih6400 The Black Sword from the Battlepass and the Blackcliff longsword from the Starglitter shop are the best. After that is the Amenoma Kageuchi for all-purpose and Lion's Roar is great in a reverse melt comp. If u have a 5 star sword that's the best.

Don't Build those weapons yet! Next patch is the Free event weapon rotation and it looks like we are getting 2! A Claymore and a Spear. And both are very good for supporters.

I’m so sad cuz I got it and I was like “Aw, I get to keep it!” but my curious brain saw use and thought “Oh can I wear it??” and was immediately upset seeing it was used for a craft recipe… 😭 big sad

as a low spender, i’ve been using iron sting on kazuha. but i’m gonna try the new sword on him and maybe place him in as a sub dps. you tested it on him at all yet?

I tested it with my kazuha, it's actually pretty good! I used hybrid kazuha build which has 500 EM and about 2000 atk with the new sword. If crit, i dealt around 19k on his E and plunging about 17k. My elemental buff to the team is around 20% so definitely quite a nice build i'd say since going full support IMO is kinda wasting his sub dps potential. And i haven't even used full viridescent verner on him so he can still go higher. Definitely choosing this as his main new weapon for now with my current kazuha. And for the note, my artifacts aren't the best (sands atk%, goblet anemo dmg%, circlet EM with trashy substat) and ended up with 30%crit rate and 120% crit dmg.

It's not bad on him but you get EM from iron sting which very important to your kazuha. If you are already satisfied with iron sting i suggest not to change.

About the electro traveler: Could you make a section of the video in which you explain how good is he/she for Eula? I really need it, because in my opinion the new traveler could help you gaining back your burst easily, so you have not to reach 140 ER (with a battery) and focus more on crit or atk; but I would like to know what do you think about that Nice video as always

Yay a new viable weapon for my Xiangling

It's been just 4 days since inazuma and i burned so much content already. 🙃

I think mona fulfills all the requirements needed for the catalyst to be used on an electro charge team, also frees up her sands slot for em/atk% and still have her role as a burst support

With the Hakushin Ring, although Lisa’s burst can trigger reactions, it does not proc the Hakushin ring effect. I am unsure if this is a bug but that is indeed the case I think. It might partially be because she applies electro much too quickly but even when I initially use the burst, it doesn’t prove the reaction
