Isn't sacrificial fragments still better on her though? While it doesn't give main-stat ER, the 3rd application on her E should still generate more particles, than the 45% ER difference, while it provides more EM than R5 Fruit of Fulfillment fully stacked and the 50 base atk shouldn't make a huge difference either given that fruit reduces atk by up to 25%.

@@ZeroDennis I guess for pure dmg a R5 fruit would deal a bit more, but since Sacrificial fragments would transfer more EM to the rest of the team, the overall team damage would matter more than Sucrose individual dmg gain

The sword seems nice. The problem is Amenoma is really good, especially at high refinements. Then at least one Iron Sting for Kuki or Kazuha. So the real issue is the limited sword billets. I hope they add a trade or billet conversion. Farming for a specific billet is just hell.

I'm gonna craft all 5 of them just because I can and I already crafted almost every weapon especially the good ones but the sword definitely sounds like a really good Bennett sword. Plus another ER sword is nice to have. Though I'm not excited to fish again I'm just gonna get the fish bow for Sara. Hopefully the polarm can be useful for me since I'm running out of f2p polarms.

I imagine the Fruit of Fulfilment means there's going to be a catalyst coming out soon that DOESN'T scale with ATK *cough cough* Kusanali (Nahida)

Eh, this doesn't mean anything. For example, look at Inazuma. The Kitain Cross is a craftable EM spear and Raiden basically had no use for it.

@@vivie3778 You still wouldn't use the Kitain Cross on Raiden even if the Catch doesn't exist... Any Atk% or ER% polearm like the Lithic Spear, Favonius Lance or even the Prototype Starglitters work better than the Kitain. It's substat is completely wasted on Raiden. Furthermore, the type of energy it gives is regen, not recharge % which boosts Raiden's damage. In conclusion there were already a decent number of polearm that were good for Raiden before the Catch came, but Kitain wasn't one of them. This case may also apply for Nahida, so don't invest all your billets into this catalyst. It's okay to pre farm and have the resources laying there, but don't invest before you know what you're getting yourself into.

Certainly for her damage, but it's usually better for her to run TToDS. If you have another catalyst support then yes, go for it.

potentially not significantly better than Sac Frags however, (allowing sucrose to self battery her 80 cost ult more easily, with a bunch of static EM) - probably need to wait until some math tubers do a dedicated comparison video using some of sucrose's top comps as well as her well known meme comps. it def seems solid on Heizhou however.

Finally Bourgeon Thomas is a thing. I called it long ago I'm happy that some player now realize it :) You gain a like, good advices. I already knew all about these weapons but I clicked because I have nothing to do while farming lol

The polearm is basically made for cyno since he has a passive that gives a attack bonus to the basic attack in the ult In 100% of the EM and a bonus of 250% of the EM for the bolts of his first ascension talent so for everyone who doesn't know yet, yes cyno will be a dps

Interesting that Bennett's new best f2p weapon is a grass blade. How about festering desires though? I have been using that sword on him since forever.

Bennet wants as much base attack as possible. Everything else isn't really important on his sword. That's why festering desire is worse than prototype rancour and the new sword.

Dendro archon might be an EM scaling catalyst user like how Raiden scales with energy recharge

Kitain cross spear would be a better option than the Moonpiercer for thoma. The passive of Kitain works really well with his energy issue at high refinement plus both polearm has same base atk and substat.

[7:06] You forgot that *Kitain Cross Spear* has the same Base Attack (565) and EM (110) as Moonpiercer _while_ also easing _Energy Recharge_ needs thanks to it's passive, so it's better for *Burgeon Thoma* than Moonpiercer and competitive with The Catch (which should be on Raiden or Xiangling anyways).

Yes moonpiercer is locked into dendro comps but offers higher supporting power, if you aren’t struggling with energy it’s very solid especially at max refinement giving a boost comparable to thrilling tales. Cross spear is something f2p players should get if you need an alternative to catch because Raiden/xiangling/Thoma etc is using it and u need another solid option.

Tbh, I see the most potential in the catalyst, especially if you’re able to r5 that thing, it’ll grant 480 em if you’re able to keep up the max stacks(+ it can be triggered off-field). As for runner-ups, the sword and claymore also give a great amount of value for the team or the main dps due to the amount of EM they can provide with its passive.

@@Asternius Nope, pretty sure at r5 its 480( *at max stacks* ), besides there’s also The Widsith that can give a conditional 480 EM buff as well(at refinement 5, r1 gives 240em), so it’s entirely impossible to get a ton of quick EM through weapons

Her is the description text from the wiki: "Obtain the “Wax and Wane” effect after an Elemental Reaction is triggered, gaining 24 Elemental Mastery while losing 5% ATK. For every 0.3s, 1 stack of Wax and Wane can be gained. Max 5 stacks. For every 6s that go by without an Elemental Reaction being triggered, 1 stack will be lost. This effect can be triggered even when the character is off-field." This is for R1. 5x 24 = 120 Double that value for R5 5x48 = 240 Widsith is a temporary burst buff with a downtime which you can't control. Thats why it has such a huge value.

Came back to Genshin for sumeru and it’s nice to see your sub count basically exploded

If candace is polearm/hydro character,she might be able to use the polearm,and if she is 4 star even more so,giving cyno a 5 star spear

Finally a sword for Bennett, been playing since 1.2 and still no sac sword, favonius or skyward, been stuck with rancour for ages

Loved the choking on the subscription part, made me laugh, so I wanted to subscribe but.... I already am... soooo yeah

talking about the moonpiercer, i think it is good on burgeon thoma but not the best. Rn we have dragons bane that gives him a lot of EM and theres the inazuma craftable polearm (idk how it is called in English my game is in Spanish). That polearm gives him the same EM and base atack, but the pasive helps him with his energy problems.

Do you think that Fruit of Fulfillment would work on kusanali? I feel like she's going to be a EM support or will benefit from it but who knows

The Alley Flash v Sapwood Blade? Competition with other swords wasn't really touched upon in the video, which is understandable bc the passive, ER and high base atk make the weapon objectively better for Bennett but I'm not sure if it's worth raising and putting on my Bennett, considering the difference of about 55 base atk that the Alley Flash has over Sapwood Blade.

I think he was mostly comparing them to other F2P options. Alley Flash is not only a gacha weapon, but a weapon banner gacha weapon, so even less obtainable for F2Ps.

The moonpiercer is might actually be for Cyno since he scales off of elemental mastery and is a dps (based off of the leaks ive seen)

bro I arguably say this is the best in slot catalyst for Sucrose

This update he got the most buffs. New hydro resonance buffs his HP and thus his shield; he's the best user for the new craftable spear amd Thoma is probably the best pyro applier for burgeon teams.

i'm so envious of the yoimiya showcase shown, seeing her do 30-50k damage, while mine does 17-20k on rare occasions. :(

- FOF (fruit of fulfillment) can also be viable on a support mona , because she uses ER to increase her Hydro dmg bonus. (Her passive waterborne destiny: “Increases Mona’s Hydro Dmg Bonus by an equivalent to 20% of her Energy Recharge Rate.) And since most people run her as a support for damage dealing utilizing her burst, attack isn’t all that necessary on mona. (Thats just my opinion) Just a thought!

i might use the sword on traveler cause it looks good on her.

Are anemo characters even able to trigger the sword passive since they can’t swirl dendro. And it activates on dendro reactions. I do think this will be a great choice for traveler in an electro team. Raiden and traveler has become a really fun team

yes! they can cause reactions like aggravate to happen via swirling electro and having that electro touch dendro auras :)

I tested it. Moonpiercer drops that little leave and it can be picked up by anyone besides tge wielder. The attack buff is based on the base attack of the wielder meaning the buff is stronger when the spear's level is higher. Best part about is that moonpiercers base attack is pretty high so on max Level one could have a pretty good attack buff even on low refinement.

Second best for Yoimiya is Rust / Aqua and not the mentioned 5 star bows, so in light of this, this is not worth pulling for her, especially since the passive is not good for her at all.

I only have bow and polearm prototypes... Wish I could build the sword and the claymore 🗡️ :(

Collei’s entire kit screams “based on ATK” all over the place. King’s squire is definitely viable for her as a sub-DPS or main DPS

The greatsword could be good for Xinyan in a Burgeon team. Only because I'm lazy and don't want to farm up Thoma.

Still Sleepy while listening to the vid. Then Suddenly heard "Virgin Thoma". It awakes me and realizes that it is Burgeon Haha 😭.

I was wondering if that 5* bow can enable an offensive Diona. At c6, she gains 200em if standing within her burst's range, and she also does full-charged shots a bit faster. With crit rate as the main stat of the weapon, she can now put a crit dmg circlet. I also think that coupling this build with some dmg buff like Shenhe's will help too.

Can't say for sure, but usually these sort of effects doesn't account bonus, or external supplies, of elemental mastery, like you can't give Sucrose's EM to Kazuha to increase his elemental dmg bonus buff. I didn't test nor saw a video about it tho, just making assumptions, but if it were possible, we could make something like Albedo's EM buff + Sucrose EM buff + Diona EM buff + Kazuha C2 EM buff to make a 1200 EM Diona

I am betting the claymore will be a F2P option for Dehya, since she is a confirmed claymore user.

Basically, if an ability can snapshot, what it does is that it looks at the stats of the character using the ability at the moment that the ability is cast, then uses those stats for the whole duration of the ability. For example, let's say you use Bennett and Beidou together. Bennett's burst gives an attack buff that lasts for roughly 12 secs, and Beidou's burst lasts for 15 seconds. So if you use Beidou's burst when you're standing inside Bennett's burst, then even after Bennett's buff has expired, Beidou's burst will still deal the same damage, because it "snapshot" the attack buff at the start of it's duration.

The catalyst seems like it’d be good on a catalyst user that wants ER and EM to trigger transformative reactions. Losing 25% attack for 120 EM doesn’t seem that great for amplifying reactions. I guess with R5, the EM would be higher and would justify losing the 25% attack. It’ll be interesting to see for sure!

if kusanali will be a catalyst user(which i think she will be from leaks) i could personally see the catalyst working out for her! that is, if it DOES work in her favor of course- but i’m sure she’ll want em just like almost everyone else, so it might just be her best or better f2p weapon options

the passive only usable if you have Dendro on the team moreover extra 60EM for R5 is not really worth it.

I don’t think beidou is particularly good on aggravate teams because her burst is slow bursts of damage, 1 attack per second doesn’t really cut it for such a fast play style as the crux of the team is spamming aggravate on fischls asension 4 to get as many small instances of electro application as humanly possible, why i think keqing is just a go to for that sort of style as without c6 fischl really struggles to apply electro quick enough for the additive nature of aggravate to really compete with the multiplicative melt and vaporize

Short answer: yes to all. Longer answer: It fits some better than others. At least on paper prolly best F2P currenty available weapon for bennett. High base atk plus any amount of ER and EM means it's like proto rancour with substat and a passive that Benny can actually take better advantage of. For Kazuha, since it's ER substat, i'm assuming people who consider this weapon is using him more as generalist support and less as main DPS? I strongly suspect other 4stars like fav and sac swords do a much better job at that with lower base atk but ER-focused substat and passives. And for DPS Kazuha, EM weapons like iron sting seem more promising as an EM-scaling unit. Ayaka prolly benefits more from amenoma kageuchi with its relatively low base atk but much more useful ER-focused passive since she can spam her skill to get her expensive burst quicker than this average/mediocre ER substat sapwood offers. Someone like Jean however (also recommended user of amenoma) I can see benefiting more from sapwood's EM-oriented passive and much higher base atk even with the average/below-average ER substat, especially if building her more on the swirl DPS side and less on the burst-spamming healer side.

So something about the dendro reactions. Bloom is tricky to pull off at high speed. Cause it's 2 reactions. For 1 effect. Bloom, has a very delayed effect. On its own it deals damage after 6 or so seconds. Or trigger an aoe with pyro.(dendroXhydro-pyro) Or a homing effect(DendroXhydro-electro). To pull this off you can't pull an avatar move, where you use all burst then go ham. Cause that most likely triggers other effects. Idealy you would stack Bloom. Then finish with a pyro or electro, but without using them in between. For pyro, Bennet or diluc seems to be the only reliable users. (Touma's ult will spread burn or vape, despelling the element.) And overall all electro are too good at applying electro. Except for Sara. Meaning she won't interfere with reactions to much.

jean and kazuha would have a real hard time triggering the passive to Sapwood sword. Not saying it's not possible, but very hard. Not worth really mentioning them using it at all really.
