Dear Jahn Erik, The 2-winding transformer, which is shown in the video, was tested in cooperation with a local Austrian energy utility. However, the OMICRON accessory CP SB1 is not restricted to any specific 2-winding transformers, thus all explained measurements such as transformer ratio, excitation current measurements, static winding resistance as well as dynamic winding resistance measurements can be carried out on almost all types of power transformers. Dear vivekelec85, The tests can only be performed when the transformer is offline. The Tan delta/Power factor test is an additional diagnostic test for testing the insulation condition of the power transformer. Dear iClueYuin, We’re happy to hear that you like our system. As you mentioned, the system is designed to simplify the testing workflow on a 3-phase transformer for the construction crew. The transformer has to be climbed only once, and no rewiring is required, as ratio and exiting current, static and dynamic winding resistance are determined with one measurement. The risk of wiring errors is also minimized as the wiring plausibility is checked automatically prior to the measurement.

Dear Mohammad Abduladeem, Yes, unfortunately the zic-zac vector group on primary side is not supported in the Primary Test Manager software for CPC 100 yet. However, it is possible to document it in a special field. Thus, the measurement can be performed. How to find Vector Group. I could not find the vector group in the list provided in PTM

Dear Muhammad Bilal, for the CPC100 the vector group check is done standalone on the device itself, by using the CP SB1. The vector group check is available for TESTRANO 600 (PTM version 4.50). If TESTRANO 600 is the control device, the vector group check can be selected under “Tests”, within a PTM job (guided workflow) or when a manual job is performed. Best Regards, Your OMICRON team

transformer is fixed by nut bolts in substation on the cement concrete structure. but nut bolts loose every week , so why nut bolts loose & need to fix it every week ?

Dear Ritika, we usually have nothing to do with the assembling or installing of transformer, especially not with the fundament of transformers. But this sounds like the screws have gone through, I would recommend to contact the company which concreted this fundament.
