I played 7 years at Climax-Scotts from 6th to 12th grade. We ran the same playbook the whole time and we only lost 2 games in 7 years.

one time when were playing our QB was running a sweep. his job was to fake the hand off to the Left Half back. it was so good the defense was fooled and tackled the guy without the ball while our QB was of to the races, but the ref blew whistle thinking the Left HB had the ball. even the ref was fooled

High school made it to state with this offense lost by a FG it’s great because it’s simple we only had to practice for 20 minutes on offensive team then our defensive team was like 90 minutes and we got to use the starting offense as a scout team! 13-1 Cabot Arkansas 2014

Is there anyway we can connect. I’ve been wanting to speak to anybody from Cabot about this offense.

@@jamesbush6035 Mike Malham was a hell of a coach old school philosophy had a stint with the bears in the 60s Best athlete on team played QB normally we’d run the dive 16 plays in a row and go 8 minutes with the ball and we always had a fumblerooski or te reverse that would pop for a big play when we needed it

Bill Gentry and Ron Carbone have written great books on this offense!! Definitely worth the investigation whether you're looking to add physicality to your base offense, or creating a smashmouth culture throughout your school system!!

This playbook is all over the internet. If you want to take this to another level, check out all the Wing T playbooks here and around the net. They take the misdirection and angle blocking advantage of the true Wing T to a whole new level. Add motion to these plays and you'll keep the defense on it's heels every game and have an answer for almost every defense, down, field position and situation you encounter.

Fantastic. I have Don Faurot's book on the Split T and I just got Jim Tatum's. It's great to see some of the diagrammed plays for real! Old school offense still wins!!!

Now That is T football! Abd to think that everyone hates old school football. It still wins, now more than ever. Punting from the T formation?! Now that is HS football for you. The NFL doesn't have the guts to do that.

Just like any other offense it's all about personnel. I've seen teams go 14-0 and win state titles running this and I've seen teams go 0-10 running this. It's fun to watch when a good team runs it though.

@italianmsuboy I understand where you are coming from, but the spread is really just elements of different game-plans all in in one. One of them that is in a lot of spread offenses today is a QB who can run, and another is not letting the defense know where the ball is going.

If your high school didn’t run this 99% of the time then your high school didn’t do it right.

I doubt thats true up until about 04ish Climax was horrible. We played em once in JV after Christian didn't have a JV team. We beat em 56-0. I remember on a good ole 48 Ghost followed me (Pulling Tackle on that play) 90 yards untouched for a TD.
