Just like any other offense it's all about personnel. I've seen teams go 14-0 and win state titles running this and I've seen teams go 0-10 running this. It's fun to watch when a good team runs it though.

High school made it to state with this offense lost by a FG it’s great because it’s simple we only had to practice for 20 minutes on offensive team then our defensive team was like 90 minutes and we got to use the starting offense as a scout team! 13-1 Cabot Arkansas 2014

one time when were playing our QB was running a sweep. his job was to fake the hand off to the Left Half back. it was so good the defense was fooled and tackled the guy without the ball while our QB was of to the races, but the ref blew whistle thinking the Left HB had the ball. even the ref was fooled

HITIDES1, if you look at the video you can see the OL who stay home aren't reach blocking. It'd be very difficult to pull both Gs at the same time the OL reaches to play side, because the fake to the other side would surely draw penetration on play side right into the play. It's your typical power sweep down-&-pull type of blocking.

This playbook is all over the internet. If you want to take this to another level, check out all the Wing T playbooks here and around the net. They take the misdirection and angle blocking advantage of the true Wing T to a whole new level. Add motion to these plays and you'll keep the defense on it's heels every game and have an answer for almost every defense, down, field position and situation you encounter.

@italianmsuboy I understand where you are coming from, but the spread is really just elements of different game-plans all in in one. One of them that is in a lot of spread offenses today is a QB who can run, and another is not letting the defense know where the ball is going.

@dajonmccray Yeah. At my old school. we called it the 'slot-t' offense, had a fullback and halfback run it up the middle all night, and a tailback to occasionally run to the outside. We had 2 tight ends, one called a 'swing-man', and we would throw maybe 5 passes a game and they'd all go for TDs because they'd stack the box haha.
