POV- Barista works at a top London cafe
Ойын-сауық
Working at storyline today just in-between Mayfair and Marylebone.
Using a Modbar which looked super clean and was really fun! Haven’t used one since I completed my SCA barista skills intermediate course roughly 18 months ago so took me a minute to warm up…
Hope you enjoy!
Subscribe to see a different cafe every week!!

The efficiency and ergonomics of this set up hurts my back.
How do you get to work at so many amazing cafés? It boggles my mind to see you work and has actually inspired me to get a job as a barista at my local coffee place! Thank you so much for your content, imma continue zoning out to this video

You can work sort of freelance as a barista. Many baristas will take shifts at different cafes, the cafes might be running a low permanent staff and just hire freelance baristas to fill in the gaps. There are some platforms online that facilite it

Yes! I was wondering when another lengthy video was coming out. This is such a treat to wake up to.
Why is this so relaxing? I can watch it for hours and hours.
I just started as a barista, and your videos really fascinates me to get into this job. Please do a tutorial on how to properly steam milk and do latte art, it would be a great help for newbies like me. Thank you and God Bless!❤️
blessing us with the 1 hour long vid on a sunday :)) amazing man keep going!!!
thanks Connor, your videos are always so fun to watch!
that little washing thing for the cups and such is so cute
Absolutely love your vlogs, they’ve definitely helped me to improve in my latte art making and even film so videos myself lol
Wow that is a gorgeous establishment!! I expected this to be great background ambiance, but wow, this has been absolutely entrancing to watch!
Great video. Props to you for being able to deal with those loud American girls (Umm, yea, yea, yea) at the beginning. 👏🏻

Oh my god I am so happy you made such a long video thank you so much bro I like your content ❤❤
This has to be the best café i've seen so far. So much thought going into the coffee. Not trying to produce as many coffees as possible and pouring sugar in it to compensate for horrible thing they just made. I hope to visit these some day.
It was so satisfying when you added a little extra milk to the heart latte at the end. 😂 Excellent attention to detail! 👌🏻
Your videos are so good to watch! Thank you for this gorgeous content!

36:22 man, that matcha was poured so beautifully over the milk it ended up being like a snowy forest. Never tried matcha. Wonder what it tastes like. Btw I watched the whole video, and never got bored :D
Therapy of the day ❤
So awesome. Ever tried to add blue tack to the lighter portafilter so that they weight the same so you don't have to tare each time? Good work all round as usual though mate

I love to watch other barista stuff even tho I am barista too😅 I hope can use that equipments someday❤
I don't drink coffee but after watching this, I wanna give it a try
Nothing's more painful than when you finish making a drink and they forget to ask for it iced...
I bet this one would be quite the workout from all the slight sit-ups and/or reaching downs parts of the shift
With your style, it look like you could go straight from the coffee shop to work in a men’s barbers 👍😉

That is a very cool coffee bar
Ok that's it, I need my ConnorDoesCoffee content while I work and I am pretty sure the quality of my code improved thanks to it
Poor bar design. You should not have to turn your back to grab some stuff all the time. 2 steam modules and 2 groups are redundant. Instead the cafe owner should put grinder and tamping station on the espresso machine side to let the barista achieve more seamless workflow.
Hey dude, this is awesome video. I love the POV format, what kit do you use to record? Curious, because I’m in the cleaning business and want to record similar format for training purposes.

Nice video man! I am curious why you empty the portafilter basket..isn't it better to have the extracted coffee inside rather than just the metallic part being heated while empty! Isn't it going to affect the taste of next shot you prepare?
it seems to me, it is not comfortable place to work
Comecei a assistir seus vídeos hoje. Estou gostando de ver sua habilidade com as máquinas e o belo atendimento. Saudações do Brasil!!!
Чудесное видео! Лучший час моего дня Thank you very much, Connor
the espresso spill on the mod bar was tragic
Hi! Is it really convenient to grind coffee from the back, and then go to brew coffee from the front?
Damn even the fringe of Mayfair is fancy. Surprised the grinder doesn't operate by weight though.
In the video, someone speaks Arabic.Your video is very cool and interesting. Thank you for your videos☺️💐

It is interesting when the grams in coffee are observed, but at the same time the approximate amount of milk is poured )
Great work done there ! I saw that when you put a straw in a coffee, you let the upper side untouched. Is it an hygiene thing or style or anything else ? I'm curious to know ! I hope you get at least the same fun and chill vibes as you give us !! Keep it up ! Edit : I have the same a signet ring ! I mean... Obviously not the same ^^' but the same shapes :D Love it !

Unrelated, but whoever hasn't had oat milk - it is DELICIOUS. I actually drink both cows milk and oat milk, and much prefer oat milk. The flavor and the creaminess is crazy, I find the full fat oatly oat milk creamier than full fat milk, or perhaps equally as creamy.
amazing cafe.
i dont know why but i watched all his videos
Can someone please explain why he didn't tamp the first coffee of the video?
How does the scale never turn off? My stupid scale turns off after a few seconds.
What does the machine to the left of the mill do? The one with the blue lights and the trays on top.

bro my boss would kill me if i dare to steam anything else than milk xD we even have a special milk steamer for any other kind of milk we use (6) xD hes crazy
nice video man
That pour over (around 4:00) was interesting. Not much water was used.
perfect ❤❤❤❤
Awsome video, which manufacturer is the coffee machine from? 😊😊
I wouldn't want my barista to hold my straw with his hands when there's obviously a big chunk of paper he can grab on to. Been the second video I've seen from him and I don't really know how long he's been doing this but I also get dizzy from his POV style lol. No hate tho!
Do you always close the ice door with the ice scooper? Kinda unsanitary if you ask me...
name of the app where you receive your tickets? sometimes it makes me want to have the work rate you have, good video mate
@ConnorDoesCoffee

I'm not sure! It's set up by the cafe management
Right at the start.. don't, just don't swirl espresso shots, this is not wine. the glass is different, when you swirl espresso you lose aromatic particles into the air degrading the quality. With wine its different, when you swirl you bring in air oxidizing the wine as well as aromatic particles being trapped inside the cup by the shape of the glass (much more narrow opening with a bowl shape, its shaped like that for a reason).
Where you get those cups y’all using from
