-------------------------------------
ABOUT
Hi, my name is Emily. I am a wife and mum of two handsome boys and pregnant to our third baby. I started this vlog after years of enjoying other beauty, product and mummy blogs.
I video my everyday life every week and post on a Monday and also make other videos about things I like and products I have purchased and my own tips and opinions on parenting.
This vlog is a nice way to record events that happen in our lives (a bit like a diary) for my sons. It is such a cliché but time really does go so quickly when you have children and I just wish there was a pause button to soak up every little moment with them. I
I hope that this vlog can help capture our moments and that one day our boys can look back at some of them and know how much they are loved.
xx

I just want to say THANK YOU for telling us your journey. I’ve been feeling pressure and shame to potty train my baby. So it was such a blessing to hear you say that the older children that were 2 years 9 months got it faster. I love your channel and the wine 🍷 at the end of the day as a reward for parents is lovely! Hi Emily, I never ever comment on anything and genrally dont do social media 🙈however I have watched every one of your videos and have done from the very begining ( I am a little addicted )😂my youngest is just a little younger than jackson so these videos are super helpful even though I have done it all before. I just wanted to drop a (not so quick line) to say thank you! Your entire content is amazing, you are so positive about everything, whenever I am feeling a little defeated one of your videos always gets me motivated again, cheesy as it may sound you are truly insperational in so many ways and have helped me, my family and household so much with your great hacks and advice, I almost feel a little silly for saying it but you have helped me to grow as a mother and a wife so I just wanted to reach out and thank you! With air hugs 🤗 keep up the amazing work! Sending warm wishes, health, wealth and happiness to you and the family x 😘

Perfect timing and good advice! Weve been talking about starting Potty training for our 2 year old son but decided to wait, he’s not talking yet so it’s hard for him to communicate to us if he needs a wee. We have bought a potty that is constantly in the living room though and sometimes sit him on it just to get him used to it. We did manage to catch a morning wee one time and he was super happy. Gonna read some books and keep sitting on it when he feels like it for now and tackle the actual training later.

We recently potty trained our third and final baby too! Great advice as always! Introducing the potty early can be very helpful. After a friend told me about her toddler being terrified of the potty, I decided I would just put my baby on the potty before each bath. To my surprise, she (and my other babies) actually started peeing on the potty at about 4-5 months! We waited until they could tell us when they needed to go before really potty training, of course. 🙂

He even wakes u p with a dry nappy and the first thing he does is to go wee wee! 👏🏼👏🏼😄😄 my point is dont worry just give it a try and if he is not ready yet, give him more time. I tried the first time just 2 months ago with my son and he just wasnt ready. As Emmily says dont push him/her if they arent ready!☺️ good luck 🍀👍🏼

Thank you so much for this amazing video x my mum and a lot of female family members advised me to potty train my daughter in the warmer months and to let her not wear anything on her bottom half (I’m a single mum so it was only her and myself in the house) so that if she needed the potty she could make it. I always made a big deal of everything and put it on her rewards chart as well - my daughter is 8 now turning 9 in October so it feels like a lifetime ago 🥺 aww. This was such a lovely video 💋 tysm gorgeous and wish you all the best 😘

Despite pressure from others I've waited to potty train and I believe my child is finally ready. She even tries to potty train me now lol (If I say I'm need to go potty, she will walk me to the bathroom and tell me to sit on the potty lol) I just want to make sure that it isn't stressful, for her or for me.

My son will be 2 years and 3 months on April 12th ! Since he turned 2 I have been paying attention to see if my son shows any signs of readiness. He is scared of the big potty so we have been staying away from that. But he would frequently tell me he needed to be changed. I would also see him run and hide to do his thing. He does not always wake up with a dry diaper. And he refuses to tell me when he has to go potty. So I called it quits since he just did not seem ready and I did not want to make it a horrible experience. (That was when he turned 2) now almost 3 months later I decided to give it a try and OMG he Pooped in the big Potty !! I am soo excited i have pulled out all his underwear back out and stickers and I am supper excited to start this journey :)!!! Thank you for your video it has given me more pointers !!

Emily you are so right !!! They need to be ready . My daughter is exactly same age as Jackson ! I tried to potty train her since she turned 2 but she wasn’t ready I left the potty in a play area and it stayed there . I tried more again (was pregnant at the time and wanted to get her out of nappies !) she wasn’t ready till a week ago she said she wants to wee in a toilet like John , her friend . And since then she just ditched nappies!

Hi Emily, Thank You so much for this video. I’ve been slowly thinking about starting the potty training journey (my son is 21 months). I had already thought on a couple of tips you mention (I have 2 potties in the house, and my son willingly sits on them so we have gained the familiarity), and I’ve got most equipment I need, just waiting on a couple of deliveries, but other ideas you mention are fab and I plan to incorporate that when we up step to the actual training. I’m on maternity leave with my 2nd child currently and hoping to crack daytime potty training before I return to work with my son. Fingers crossed. Just also want to take the opportunity to thank you for many of your other videos too.. I love your insight into many parenting things and have found myself watching your channel whilst feeding my daughter - often in the wee hours! Keep up the great work :-) Shel x

Love the idea about the shoes! Some tips from friends: A friend of mine only potty trained her kids in the summer when they could run in the backyard with just an oversized shirt on. And another friend had one child who held it in forever, so she gave him as much juice as he wanted, sat him on the potty, and tickled him!
