Sir, as you said & we all can see the same that the fall in Oil & Gas sector in coming future. The big question is stand for employment base where we all have our concerns - Here are my few question :- 1.) Is the upcoming changes in energy industries will adopt the oil & gas employees ? 2.) Or we have to start developing the skill sets in area of interests of upcoming hydro/ wind/ solar/battery technologies from now onwards.

1. Some of them having desired skills may get absorbed like project / maintenance with good knowledge on electrical or electronic or power engineering. 2. I suggest to start developing new skills slowly with proper certifications.

Good informative video Sir but i have a question then why international companies invest in oil industry if their is no future in it . Reliance and BP also want to setup new petrol pumps what they think ? please reply 🙏

Yes BP has invested into downstream business.of Reliance and Aramco is planning to invest into Reliance refinery. Both the companies are big player in upstream and with such investment (must be 2-5 billion USD) they will be eligible to participate in NELP tenders for oil exploration. But if you see from Reliance perspective, who is majorily in refining and retailing, is selling out their stack, which they have not done since last 20 year. This is just because Reliance also feel that oil downstream does not have great future.

Sir, what are the options for downstream people as per the described scenarios? What can one do to change and search new opportunities as per the having experience and skills?

For the people in maintenance or project can try to grab opportunity in other sectors. People who are there in oil operation can think of entering into chemical sector I.e. terminals handling chemicals. Apart from that some additional qualification can also help.
