Not at all. RC Priests do not spout US Evageical filth and polical Armageddon. Ever! They know evil comes from people and that blaming satan or dallen ngels os a cowardlt copout and only leads to more innicent sacrificed lambs and sons. Avram knew better than that!

It’s ironic that Christopher Plummer played an Archbishop in this movie, and then also played the same role in The Thorn Birds. Great in both! The acting in this movie was really well done. Timothy Dalton was so convincing as a priest. I really recommend this movie. 🦋

A fantastic film. Beats all expensively made Hollywood so called blockbusters. Acting was great and especially from the child. For the non believers I pray because they know not of the terror and evil they expose themselves to. May God be with us all and deliver us from evil in this world and the next. 🙏🕯️

God always triumphs. All you have to do is believe.

That kept me on the edge of my seat,The little boy was a great actor l really loved the movie l just couldn’t believe what I was watching great actors

This film seems to be very much closer to the real case than The Exorcist, which was based on William Peter Blatty's book, in which he made the boy a girl and made a very different story of it. The boy was called Ronnie rather than Robbie....Ronald Hunkeler, and he did lead a normal life after these events, and even worked for NASA, where he worried that he'd be 'outed' as the boy whose story inspired The Exorcist.

Amazing cast and performances. The best exorcism film for so many reasons.

Always a difficult watch when a child is used and put through such suffering ... so many secrets out there. Glad this one got out. God Bless

This is the story based on the boy who inspired the exorcist movie. The real child was a little boy who was possessed. He grew up to be a Catholic and ended up working as a Scientist. His parents first tried a Pentecostal Clergy, but ended up with a Catholic priest.

Absolutely awesome.

The ouija board is not nonsense. It is extremely dangerous. The ignorant find out the hard way. Or the foolish who want to show off. Open that door and b ready to pay a heavy price for ur mistake dearly. Things can happen well beyond ur control. Don't call the cops,they cannot help u.

My cousin used the ouija board.. long story short we asked who is there and it replied my mother in law who died about a few months before.. so we asked if it's you tell us something we only know.. it spelled out ring and I forgive.. I had no idea what that meant.. but my wife admitted to my surprise she had pawned her mothers wedding 💍 ring.. my cousin was the only person operating the board.. I was freeked out so we packed up the board.. and left my cousin with her board and left

Actually you are quite right ...the movie the exorcist was based on a true story except it was a boy that got possessed...and was found out the boys aunt was into some bad mojo stuff ...so that was the entry point .for possession..plus I read Father Malachi Martin's book ...windswept house ...that was based by true stories of exorcism ....was a difficult read ...not for everyone ...and don't read it at night ..Father. Malachi..was a Vatican exorcist...under 3 popes ...and one of the things Satan likes ..is to convince people that he doesn't exist ...

Don't usually watch this type of movie, but I'm glad I did. Really powerful.

The PTSD veterans go through is beyond horrific! It's heartbreaking and so cruel. There's veterans that can't even watch or talk about anything to do with war . It's too painful even decades later.

Timothy Dalton, Christopher Plummer always can play those patriarchal parts very well. Jonathan Male that played Robbie was very convincing. All the actors were good. So this this was the movie actually based on a true story about the boy that was possessed.

Great movie. The kid is a good actor, really really good. Why is the church always reluctant to acknowledge demonic possession and the power of G0D? Well at least in many, if not all delivarance movies. Is this how it is. in reality? The vatican would rather indulge itself in politics and diplomatic "frufrus", instead of actually doing the work assigned by G0D?

The main reason the church rarely authourises exorcisms is simply due to the fact that most if not all so called demonic possessions are due to mental illness. 99.9% of these poor people need medical attention, not a priest.

The actors are incredible great cast. The kid Robbie was also a great actor. I loved the red color of his hair. Not a ginger copper color. It was a very rich red.

...and I always wondered what Mr.Bond has been up to all this time.

A decent movie indeed. I liked the acting of all the cast. Dalton's Penny Dreadful performance propelled me to watch this one. And he did not disappoint me at all. Worth viewing.

Robbie is so very brave to take on this role and as a real person to go through his salvation

The kid seemed less possessed and more like he just had to much sugar.

Because they don’t want to appear backward when people believed in evil spirits. People might think they are crackpots believing in the supernatural. Really stupid reasoning because Jesus was supernatural. The whole gospel is supernatural. So when they hide the supernatural they do a disservice to God. God is not “modern” nor is the devil. They are more than ancient and definitely supernatural. Jesus’s birth, life, death and resurrection was miraculous. The RCC should not deny that the supernatural exists to gain favouritism if it doesn’t want to contradict itself.

All these rituals that are power less except for the Word of God Jesus said He has given us authority over evil spirits They could take the name of Jesus and cast them out that is in the Bible There is also fasting for the victims Thank God for deliverance ministries There’s been plenty of possessed people but also plenty of whom got the demons cast out.. What a waste of talent, three excellent actors, Dalton, Cerzny, Plummer and Laurie and a real pig of a script and direction.
