Hi Shannon, Great to see you are doing well and the chemo side effects have improved. Just wondering how the cooking classes went. No doubt Covid put a bit of a dent in those plans. I thought it was a great idea as I feel I may have had a bit of a parenting fail in that department as well. It gave me the idea to buy a couple of nice note books and I have been writing out all my easy, no fail recipes to give to my son and daughter once I have filled them. So glad I found your channel, in the early days I picked up a lot of hints regarding my cancer journey. Keep well.

don't feel bad I had the same thing happen to me I had a dream job and I have to stop it it killed me but I got you know used to it and think positive think that you did have a chance to be who you wanted to be you had a class you had everything you lived your life but that doesn't mean you're going to die anytime soon but maybe it's time to rest it's time to stop

Hey Shannon, I got a little worried about your break and the situation in the US. Also here not everybody is wearing a mask. People are getting tired of it and the virus itself lost its scaryness. Our region here had 200 cases, 7 dead and no active ones. Still my mom stays careful and if necessary will change masks. I am home now and my dad is in recovery. They might want to add some chemos. CT scan shows nothing but they want to increase the chance that it will never come back. You look good, so stay safe and have a nice summer

Glad your all okay, I was worried about you. The rapid test is not reliable no. My daughter is a nurse.

Good to see you, iam new to your channel please help me my mom is stage 4 colon cancer and she got her first round of chemo, she looks so tired and sounds so tired as well, and I understand but it make feel that she's giving up, she says that she gets pain iam worry is like she's is giving up fiscally. Don't know...just don't want her to give up. I now she is going to this hard time and its only the beginning on her chemo but don't wanna see her that way. Please tell me how to her.

First, I would have her watch some of my videos so that she can see that you do get tired and there are side effects but you get over them. Secondly I would try and find something nutritious that she will eat or drink there is a premiere Protwin out there that has 30 g of protein in it and just one shake so even if her stomach has shrunk down there’s not going to be a problem with her you know being able to drink it all and she can have a few of those a day along with anything else she’ll she’ll have. Last, you being there or checking in on her is a blessing.

How long do you have to go for chemo

I go every other week, and have the big infusion the first day followed by being hooked up to my pump for 46 hours.
