I have this horrible tendency to cross my legs(while standing) every time a camera is on me. And usually crossed so that the crossed foot is on my other foot or even in the air. Took the most horrific version of this when I met Kat Von D at a book signing in Boston once!

I was doing a self portrait my neighborhood park and I was posing against this tree, but I was wearing brown knee-high socks with brown boots so they blended into the bark and looked like I got my leg amputated. To make matters worse, I posted it to instagram and people asked me about it!

I wish every video had a “and here’s Chris in a suit” moment.

Y'know? It would have been nice to see some of what the shots looked like during the video. How they were framed, composition, how the poses are affected by the lighting etc. Maybe part 3 with some of that?

Is it just me or does the guy look insanely good as he is? Like, yes, he might not have a stereotypical model body, but he is still really clean, has great facial hair, clean haircut and skin. On average he would be one of the best looking guys in the room.

Moral of the story guys - get a gorgeous looking suit if you wanna be next level :P BUT ACTUALLY, awesome video Lizzie... I'm gonna make Scott watch it cause he really needs help in the pose department lol

I want to do a celebrity portrait with my boyfriend inspired by Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin. I have been studying poses/style from portraits taken from the back then. But still not completely sure how to start. This is an awesome video. Great tips for photographing men and poses 🙂

Great advice thank you. I will use some of this next time I pose a subject. That last photo of Chris in the with looking out the window, that's a great photo, but the fallen sock exposing his leg takes something away from it. It's a good example of why men need socks that stay up, myself included.
