Hi Lizzie, I have a question about photoshoots (both photo and video) and wardrobe for models and such. Does the model supply the clothing or the photographer or a mix of both? I have always wondered this as I’ve never photographed anyone apart from a couple of weddings. I’m wondering how this would work for say fashion or a aspirational/lifestyle type shoot. Also how would this be organised for a shoot? Thanks all the way from a sunny and cold Scotland.

Great video. I can tell you are comfortable in front of a camera. Bold is good. Here's a tip from a artist: improve your composition on your close-up shots by reducing the space above your head. Tilt the camera down so we can see your hand movements - they are valuable for expressing your words.

it's been well loved! I've had it for a few months already :)

Love the video, it is useful and made beautifully. Followed the link to see the peak design tripod for the 27th time. Noticed the price, my balls retracted back into my body, and i left their website. $599 is just a bit much for me, much as i love using some of peak design's products. I am not bashing the product in any way, i think it is a great product and priced somewhat decently. I just rather go with a more inferior (or just bulkier+heavier) product at a lower cost that's all. Thanks again for the lovely video, and you look mighty fine too.

Amazing video. I see how you developed and improved your mighty channel up to today in October 21. Congrats and rexpect for your entire work! But against the majority of the YT community I am a defender of long lenses. The distortion of a face is visible, if a wide angle is used too near to the subject, beause of the laws of geometry: Example, for your followers, because nowadays you are a world wide professional :) The distance from the models eyes to the front glass of the camera is one feet = 30cm, but the ears are 1,5 ft = 45cm, whuch results in a geometric distorsion, enlarging the proportion of a nose, that is one third too big als in real life. Portrais are allwas looking pleasing if you exeed the standard lens. Full Frame 50mm APS 35 and MFT 25mm: That means, getting a pleasing proportion of a persons or an animals face, the amera has to be more far away as 10x the focal length of the lens. Then you also can get a wide angle, if you intend to show the sourrondings. But the face of the presenter is geometrically perfect.

Well thank you! Well I wanted to make a video like this because I think I have a very average body type that people can relate to! I'm not tall, not suuuuuuper thin, and I got some extra padding from some late night mcdonalds am I right? So I think it's important to have tips for the EVERY girl taking pictures with friends at music festivals! haha :)

@@LizziePeirce I honestly loved it, they're such easy to follow tips as well, I had to share this with a couple of my friends who I travel quite frequently with but could probably get better shots of if they followed this advice! But I do think you're being super modest, you look incredible (and my buds agree!!)
