Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. It´s funny cause i lived all my life in Portugal and that was my childhood. We never give enough value to the things that we have.

I'm brazilian and I live in Brazil but I always spend my holidays in Portugal. Portugal has everything that any other country has and, above all, it is a peaceful and safe country. Unfortunately, a video with just over 15 minutes doesn't show even 1% of the natural beauties, historical monuments, castles, medieval towns, ecological villages and much more that Portugal has to offer. Portugal has hundreds of small villages (aldeias) with a tourist structure and dozens of medium-sized cities in which the visitor cannot imagine what he can find. I'm suspicious to talk about Portugal because I love this country.

Obrigado Francisco. I was born is Lisbon. I've been living in the Netherlands since 1970, but visit Portugal almost every year. You are absolutely right about Portugal having so much more to offer. Nevertheless this guy managed to capture some spectacular highlights in just a few days. Some of them I have visited only more recently, like Praia de Ursa and Benagil cave. The Monserrate Palace and gardens, I have been visiting almost every 2-3 years or so. It has been restored but wasn't finished the last time I visited it.

You can like both, it is not like one should be winning like in a football game, that is silly. IMHO Spanish beaches and water temperature are much much nicer, and it is much bigger and diverse, but I love Portugal as well and enjoy it a lot.

@@NeoJoaoSurf Spain is number one speaking about blue flag beaches. Blue flag beaches are the rating for the best possible quality including sand, water and services, that is a fact. Some people love to go to the beach and don't being able to get into the water not even in August for more than 3 minutes. But I don't, and the older you get the more you hate that. We have more coastal area at the Atlantic than Portugal plus all the Mediterranean and Cantabric sea, so... no, there is really no contest. But I like Portugal is a tiny beauty, don't show a Napoleon complex trying to put down other countries, you shouldn't need it if you were sure about Portugal being the best. Really, it makes look anyone silly.

After spending this last December and January in Portugal I'm so smitten with this country. Can't wait to return.

I’ve watched this video with smile on my face and light in my heart. My country of Portugal represented in the best way possible by such great people. Yes it has the sun and the beaches, the palaces and the wines, but what makes Portugal so majestic is it’s people. Obrigado!

What the heck did I just watch.... *mind blown* . The editing, the sound design, the storytelling. I cannot believe I just watched a 16:36 long video and felt disappointed when it ended because it was too short... You told the story about Portugal so beautifully! Man, you got some skills! We are on our way to Portugal for the winter and I know about all these places. This video just confirms all of our reasons for going there! (currently in Prague, slow traveling our way from Northern Europe to the south).

My biggest is 18, but I have a little son and I‘m separated from their dad. I couldn‘t just leave and separate my kid from his father… In around 10 years, when he is old enough, I‘ll definitely move to Portugal and to its beautiful people. ☺️

9:45 Poor kid. Olives direct from the Olive tree are very very sour. 😂 1st you need to let them "bath" several days in water with high salt concentration, garlic and herbs. Change that "bath water" several times during that period until they are ready to eat. PS. Our Portugal is amazing, isn't it?! 😉

Read & saw pictures of Portugal in school books only. But such a wonderful & eye chanting it is. Beaches, sand, sun rise, nature with its lovely fruits, flowers, churches, ect. Your jump for swimming on the top, just a real Hero u bro. Di too... the best jodi. At this this age too cute children r rocking.

I been following your channel recently and have to say it's mind blowing your latest videos from the last 18 months. I like the style and I see how much work you put into them from constantly filming a whole day and then the editing afterwards. Thanks for sharing your jouney it gives a very good impression. Definelty to explore all countrys to fullest I also thought that it might need at least 1-3 months depend where and when and what. Spectacular video! If you like landscapes you must visit Gerês, and the islands Azores and Madeira. If you like historical places and beautiful cities you must visit Coimbra, Aveiro and Porto. I love living in Portugal - there are so many places to discover... The region of Leiria, where I live, is also very beautiful, with many castles, monasteries, beaches...

If you ever come back to Portugal you should definitely visit Porto, our second biggest city, it’s truly beautiful! Also the Alentejo region is peaceful and amazing as well
