Fall in Colorado is a bucket list must-do, so it’s time to pack up for a Colorado road trip! The changing of the leaves is by far the prettiest time of the year in the Mile High state and in this video we explore Maroon Bells, Grizzly Reservoir, Big B's Orchard, Independence Pass and Aspen. Your style is easily the best I’ve seen for any family oriented channels. Would go as far as saying it’s up there with the likes of Bryn North and Sam Kolder. Which is saying something given they don’t have kids to look after too :P I’d LOVE to see a behind the scenes video on how you film and edit videos!

I would go with some all wheel or 4x4 to not be limited where you want to go. As for the foliage, that varies greatly based on altitude but the area around Aspen, which has some of the lushest aspen “groves” Colorado has to offer, I found late September to usually be the best time to photograph. Again, this can change if they get an early snow storm, etc. 🤷🏼♂️ It’s Colorado... anything goes weather-wise ☀️❄️🏔

Thank you! For those videos I was using the GH5 with a Ronin S and the Mavic 2 Pro for aerial shots. I have since changed my setup to shoot with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K.
