Love love love this podcast! Fantastic to hear from Betty, especially since she was on the ground for that PSG vs Lyon match (it gave me goosebumps just thinking of the noise in the stadium, what an amazing experience). And Becky’s good vibes at end and her comment about the feedback towards this show 😍😍😍

Croix Bethune's goal i thought was the best of the week. That was jaw dropping as I watched it live.

The Lyon/ PSG game was amazing. I was so surprised by Lyon coming back so strong to win. Horan's assist was excellent.

Vlatko isn’t influencing Dibernardo. You can see her impact by what has happened with CRS. She was always an underrated extremely important piece in the middle of the field.

I love that Morgan Brian is the go-to hair braider but she never even wears braids 😂

The Lyon/PSG checkers analogy was *chef’s kiss* As a Lyon fan… you could feel PSG’s soul being crushed after the second goal and then leave their body after the third. Second leg, anything can happen, but I would think Lyon has the confidence edge. Lyon knows they can dig out of anything, and PSG has to let go of letting it slip away.

Skimmed by a couple nwsl games to get to the European teams that actually matter Love the broad perspective but I listen to the athletic’s women’s football podcast and they do not talk about the NWSL at all. I’m not sure they know it exists. Emily Fox fell out of the sky into north London. If we don’t value our league no one is going to do it for us.

Hello Sam and Becky. I was surprised to hear wargames mentioned, having played for my university. My pals from there had "Fury of Dracula" as a favourite board game, when we were not trailing around with boxes of miniature soldiers. Next thing you will be popping up on a BrandonF live stream. I got lots of likes on a joking comment I made on a Tank Museum post this week. Maybe you could have a military vehicle theme on video?

Yeah I got that vibe regarding Becky last time she was on, and that was solely through the audio podcast. Benefit of the doubt maybe its a bit of a weird one trying to comment on other games in other leagues whilst you're still playing. That's why think it was such a good shout getting correspondents on though to do the analysis with Sam.

Really like the idea of correspondents. Love Sam and her analysis but has occassionally felt like she was the only one watching games outside the NWSL, although thats fair enough as Lynn and Becky are still playing.

Barcelona are not as good man this Betty Glover is overrating them their league is pants and Chelsea are clearly the 2nd best team in Europe for almost a decade at least so why is she awestruck when a team with Ashley Lawrence, Erin Cuthbert,Lauren James, Catarina Macario can rock up and beat Barca 👀👆
