The part about Allyssa and her stoic attitude was cute and hysterical.. I'm devestated Sam can no longr play but wow she's an amazing interviewer and such a joy to watch.. well done girls.

This is great !! Sam !! May I suggest you all try to take time in each episode to do some Educational segments to help understand the game better, Like why teams play certain ways formations, positioning, players starting, subbing or whatever you think is valuable to answer fans questions. 66 year old man here ,been following USWNT since 99 like a lot of fans. Also now following Engalnd NT, and WSL and all games US players teams in other countries. Aside from USWNT I follow NWSL, Favorite Teams over seas Chelsea & Arsenal, Lyon and more. BUT ! USWNT #1 Keep up the good work this new one is badly needed !! :) :) :}

Please do this. So many places you can go with this. From soccer tactics, positions, to old youth days and what you had to do during tournaments then.

I was at the swamp game. A lot of us SD Wave fans love Sheridan (Canada and SD Wave GK) and know what a badass can be. But Alyssa just took over. We were in awe and screaming our lungs out. Such a great ending to a ridiculous game.

This was so delightful, I was smiling the whole time! I love all of your chemistry and Sam’s little side eye when she says a joke or pun or something she’s really proud of 😂

We are more about the wwf entertainment (collectively) first then we get into tactics and the strategy. That’s coming but we can’t compete with the legacy of euro fans. It’s ok. It’s history. It’s definitely coming for USA but Horan just isn’t sugarcoating. USA fans wanna party and that’s ok, we are growing as a country and soccer isn’t our number 1 foot so depth of understanding on the game is something that the general person wouldn’t know likely but in England… different.

Aww, I'm going to LOVE this! I've followed Sam and Lynn's podcast for ages but it's so cool to get to see and hear from the Legend that is Becky, too ( I'm English but you can't be a women's football fan without knowing who Becky is!)! . Congrats on winning the Gold Cup - I loved how tight it all was, re so many teams being real contenders. Very like our Euros? Hopefully this Competition will run a run and, through that, you guys, and Brazil etc, will become more visible and known outside of the World Cup and Olympics. Eek, feel.i have to clarify that! The USA are respected as ( until recently) the very BEST in the World!! But...I went to a quiz night over Xmas and in the Sports part one of the questions was " Name 11 USA football players, male and/or female". I wrote 11 women's names in a FLASH, because I love/follow US women's soccer, but we were the only team to scored more than 3 players! Why? Bcos we only ever see you at the WC or the Olympics ( and ditto you, we Europeans) 👀☺️

On the topic of Alyssa Naehers PK I always thought that goal keepers and strikers just watching as a fan always make the best penalty kicks. Strikers it’s their job to score and GK’s have that in them as well. I don’t know if it’s because they go up against each other in training but they have it in their blood. I’m surprised more GK’s don’t step up tbh. But Alyssa is cold blooded. Never a nervous bone in her body
