The tote backpack is almost always my go-to lately. I just recently got one in Honey and I love it! I’m usually a pebbles leather person, but lately Honey has grown on my and I love the little wrinkles it’s getting.

I bought the backpack tote in honey back in December when I watched your first video on it. I LOVE IT. I am not gentle at all, so it has scratched, aged, and softened quite a bit. I have stuffed it to the point where I can't close the zipper and it has been a real workhorse. I also have the laptop tote, which I do like but not as much for the exact reasons you stated. Thank you for the comparison! I am not one to switch out, but still like seeing other bags. 😊

One day I’m going to be brave and whittle my collection a bit. I have favorites for sure, but switch bags often since I have more than I need. 🙈 I have a fresh video coming this morning! I’m glad you love the tote backpack. I’ve seriously been considering a Honey.

I love that you compared these two today! I’m still new to the brand, but have both of these. I just carried the bucket backpack in Dune last weekend and loved it, and today I’m carrying the tote backpack in Cognac for the first time. I like these bags on the weekends for going shopping or running errands or doing other activities where I want to be hands-free. For both of them I do have to modify my EDC, but I don’t mind that if I know I’m not going to need those extra things (my kids are grown, I don’t need as many “just in case” things as I used to lol). If this tote backpack works out well today I may get it in a pebbled leather because I love how soft and pliable they are compared to the more structured smooth leathers. I just used my honey tote for the first time yesterday. I’ve never been quick enough to snag a deal on BST, but I’ve had some luck on the resale sites and it has helped grow my collection quickly. I’m so impressed with this brand, the quality and prices are amazing! Thank you for another great review, I always look forward to your videos!

Thank you so much! I’ve tried a few mystery boxes. So far I’ve not been very successful, but otherwise I’m happy with my purchases. I am very impressed with Honey. I’m hoping for a Tote Backpack in it too.

Great review Sam! I also wish I could be a one bag girl. lol I have so many that I love. I can't even stay in one bag for a week before I get the urge to switch to another favorite. Right now I am loving my large bucket bag in nutmeg!

The Tote backpack is 👌🏻

I have the same Honey bag I purchased in 2020 (back when you could choose the strap.color and front pocket was optional). I don't carry it everyday, I like to switch bags too, but I can tell Honey will definitely soften with use. I have two pebbled totes and use as well but like how the Honey can stand up without falling in to itself. I'm like you, I prefer the tan handles over the dark. Thank you, I enjoy your videos!

I don’t think they will do a preorder with Honey/Tan. If they did, I’d get a large zip for travel!

I would love to see the bucket backpack in comparison with the 2 bucket crossbody bags they have! Not sure if you have done that comparison or not! Thanks!

Those are the two I figured weren’t me and I wasn’t getting, but maybe I will try one…or both, just for research. 😅

I just ordered a medium cross body bag in Nutmeg. I’ve been wanting to try a pebbled leather- all my current PLG bags are smooth. I just hope it isn’t so floppy that I struggle to get things in! Time will tell if the medium cross body knocks the tote backpack out of my #1 spot.

If you don’t carry a ton, medium is wonderful. If you carry a bunch, go with large. If you like to take the whole house with you, try the OS!

I realized today that if I keep watching your videos, I'm eventually going to buy a Portland bag. I did notice they're having a big sale today.... :) Where did you get your S bag charm? It looks great on that bag!

Do you think your bucket backpack slides off because you might wear it lower on the back? I’m trying to think to last time I owned one. I think I’ll be repurchasing it for this summer tho!

The one that makes me happiest is the slight styles. Dune, Sedona, etc. I love the small bucket crossbody and the tote backpack best I think.
