Oh man I’ve been wanting to see that “Bridge Line” next to the exhaust port just like they do for the intake port and see how it would sound and run! It would be awesome if you found a way to do it!

Shop in Auckland that machines the water seal grooves into housings if needed. Cheap as too. Have done it plenty.

I did a Hybrid Renesis , semi-PP ports, Billet 2 piece intake manifold, custom Turbo exhaust manifold, Fuel tech. It makes about the same power as non Renesis engine, the Brap sound is not the same as the traditional rotary. It's a lot of custom work, not sure if it's worth it. But at least I can say I did it..smh

It's great that you do it all yourself bro. For a laugh I rang a company in Australia, no names lol. They quoted $12800 for a renisis turbo kit. No dump pipe hahaha. That is daylight robbery . Unfortunately that is Australia 🇦🇺

Fyi you can use the stock renesis apex seals. We have used them in pp and j port motors with large exhaust ports. Letting you know so you can save money.

I spent a few years developing building hybrids eith a guy. We did stock ports just gslse housings , made 170 hp..no matter how much timing and fuel. Went to half bridgeport..4hp more. Full bridge..no gain. Semi pp stock ports.. no gains. Changed centre iron to a 12a turbo one..stock ports, GSLSE..made 179whp... Instantly ,proved theres too much exhaust ( 5port exhaust) Then went to half bridgeand the 12a centre 191... which is still 15ho less than what a well tuned stock renesis will make. Then we finally bit the bullet of defeat and put GSLSE in again.full bridge..bloxked the renny exhausts with the flange.. instantly made 222whp

That’s really interesting . How did you block the renesis exhaust ports. Maybe I shouldn’t have ported my exhaust ports . Shit

@@Madrxsev you can just make individual plates or one big flange Covering the lot..then just cut out the pp holes.. Every 5000km just remove and spray into ports some oven cleaner and wash out any excess build up....but thats being ocd..they won't carbon up fuk all..I only recommend it when services come up on motors I do

@@Madrxsev I've also filled them with aluminium..( I have a smelter). Similar to how we do intakes for pp etc..but it's very time consuming.

@@arcrotaryengineering7156 I am running a big turbo off this engine . Would it be good to keep all exhaust ports for that or should I look at blocking the renesis ports?

The GSL-SE housings are available new and are cheaper that the rx8 ones for some reason.

Couldn't you get the groves cut into the housing if you had a old skool one and sus out a shop with CNC machine
